Excellent Hidden Gem in Tlaquepaque!
Reviewed By Ligia_SDLocated in the heart of Tlaquepaque and just two blocks away from El Parian, it is the perfect location for walking along one of the most beautiful areas in Guadalajara. The hotel itself is beautiful, impeccably clean, fabulous amenities including an in-room water cooler, and I can't say enough good things about the staff, everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful, it truly felt like a home away from home. The included breakfast was far from the typical continental breakfast, there were several options and it was amazing, I had the huevos rancheros, choices were very traditionally Mexican, delicious! The bartender, Charly, was incredibly friendly, welcoming and makes a stiff drink! :) Overall, highly recommended!!!

Reviewed By TammylabcLovely hotel, rooms are huge and cleaned to an extremely high standard. The pool is amazing and the grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Some of the tiles are missing in the pool but this doesn’t impact using it or even the look of it. There is a kids pool and the one end of the swimming pool is shallow enough for babies to sit down. There is also a pool bar on the weekend. I saw reviews for the hotel and they were not very positive but gave it a chance for the price and I was shocked at how amazing the place is. The restaurant is beautiful but the food hasn’t been great and it takes so long to be done so that’s why I knocked some off the score. We waited 40 mins for two milkshakes. The milkshakes, cakes and lemonade are very nice but the other food items we had were terrible. We were only supposed to stay a couple of nights but have been here a week so far. We have been getting an Uber into town for food, there are taxis in reception but they charge almost double the cost of Uber. The hotel is part of a secure complex with really nice houses so you have to go through security to get in which can take a few minutes but they are very welcoming and it feels very safe. There is no lift at the hotel and there are quite a few steps but the porters are a great help. Some staff speak very good English which is helpful.

Reviewed By Nizzle1I am so disappointed with our accommodations we are checking into a different hotel even though this booking was paid in advance. The “deluxe” room is tiny, there is no room for luggage or toiletries, The walls are dirty with actual foot prints on them, I imagine because people prop their feet up on them from the bedside as there’s really no where else to sit down in the room. There is no restaurant or bar, this is a bare bones “hotel”, not a sanctuary from the city. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink, and the water had a very strange moldy smell! This place needs some help. I will not be back, nor would I recommend it.

Reviewed By califcaslI liked the half moon inn. The place was clean and neat, the staff was friendly, and the breakfasts were good. The only thing I disliked was the obvious discomfort the all Mexican guests had when the gringo showed up for breakfast.

Reviewed By bonitav229Estancia de dos días. La decoración de la habitación está bonita. La estancia de la terraza donde está el Temazcal muy agradable. Sin embargo, la limpieza de la habitación regular y despues mala, ya que olvidaron hacer la limpieza en la primera noche. El contenedor del shampoo estaba a la mitad y el de la crema estaba a un cuarto. Al tener patio central y 6 habitaciones lo convierte en un lugar riudoso. Sin duda esperaba más.

Disappointing
Reviewed By Salvador CI stayed at this hotel for two nights, it is a lovely hotel with a beautiful pool, it has nice gardens and the people are respectful, I met Roman, who helped me with my iPad. They were friendly with me, unfortunately I do not know if I would go back, in my room the bathroom was dirty and the sheets looked dirty. I recommend working on your hygiene, for this I do not recommend it.
