Good, Modern Hotel in Tak
Reviewed By Dao1949The SOHO hotel is quite upscale and has many artsy sculptures and wall designs similar to the famous SOHO village of Manhattan, New York. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The room was well equipped and included a refrigerator and electric pot for heating water. The bathroom also had good facilities and allowed us extra room to lay out our toiletries. Although their restaurant was not serving dinner, the breakfast buffet was very good and had plenty of food for us. Very good location, downtown Tak and about a block from the nightly market and river park.

Reviewed By Termtemmy short overnight stay plan has been changed to a longer relaxing time in this in-town resort with the unexpected natural surroundings Location: ***** on Highway 12 in the suburb of Tak province, easily assess by private car and public transport Universal design: ** possibly accessible by a wheelchair with a helper in most area, many steps more than 10 cm. high in front of the room, no disabled toilet and parking, the toilet bathroom door is just 68 cm. width. Cleanness: ** the dining rooms and toilets are clean but need good maintenance, some insects and mosquitoes in the room during the night Safety: **** safety and securities in all area with security guards Food: *** included breakfast is simple with boiled rice, egg, sausage, vegetables, and common fruits should be much better if local food is also available Privacy: **** able to maintain guest’s privacy in most of the area Internet: ***** fast and strong signal free wifi in the room, no need password Staffs: ** the staff should pay more attention to the guest’s request, I asked for an in-room meal at a specific time, but they did not follow my request Facilities: **** standard facilities in the room, many beautiful garden and photograph spots Value: ***** low price for the more-than-expect service

Good value stay
Reviewed By Verity LWe paid £11 per night - very clean tv and air con and room cleaned daily - fine location and smiley staff but as with nearly all places in this area no English speaking so come prepared and with your tours booked up already as there is no tourism offices to book with and internet travels places where all booked up two weeks before we arrived - we went to wrong way cafe the most english place but no leaflets in there so across road to phangdang hotel where the lady was very sweet and managed to give us a mans number to take us to where we wanted to go / brilliant if not trip out here would not of been worth it - but with the right tours booked here is the perfect place to stay/ if you do get caught short like us phone Nong 1500 baht per day plus fuel you use he will take you any where, good driver and comfy car but speaks only a few words of English - 0899476432 breakfast was hilariously bad half a very random club sandwich each but at £11 a night this to us was fine :)

Reviewed By 275MichaelGStayed here 2 nights ,,nice bed a real plus in Asia stayed in the cheaper rooms as there is only me but it was spacious ,,clean,,, had a fridge ,, vegan had some beer and coke in the fridge at a reasonable rate ,the lobby is just breathtaking with the carved wood decor .And the large wood tables are awesome the location is great and felt very safe walking around ,most of the rooms have a small balcony , I was on bottom floor so did not . THE STAF WERE VERY helpful and helped me out . The Wi-Fi password changes everyday was a pain but no bites

superb service staff
Reviewed By PUANGPETthe overall surroundings of the hotel is the best view in town. The room with the panorama view of Ping river is amazing. The staffs in every section was done the excellent job, they all have service-mind, very friendly and well-trained. The overall service is over expectation. Restaurant is also recommended. Surely stay again when coming to Tak next time.

Unexpected nice hotel

Reviewed By swissrainWe enjoyed each single detail of this place, the large tidy rooms, and the verandah area in the garden with one of the most memorable dinners ever. We did not order anything, but told Delio to just make any dinner. All dishes were a surprise and delicious, it was the abundancy of an Italian farm dinner!. New to me: Cookies dipped in red wine. Italian style! We will miss this place and will want to be back, then for more than a night, to be spoiled at table!

Reviewed By Olivier CConvenient hotel for a one-night stopover as it is located on the roadside between Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Clean and comfortable bedding. Parking available. Clean and quiet but without particular charm. Very basic breakfast.

Reviewed By TGSASpacious room, very clean, basic room. Owner(s) only speak Thai, was not a problem though. Toast and coffee for breakfast, which was fine, I only needed hot water. Free parking, maybe not enough spaces when hotel is full though.

Reviewed By MamaSanChiangMaiDisappointing. Beautiful waterfront property with lots of staff grooming and trimming neat gardens. King room was just big - a thimble of shampoo, no kettle or coffee, aircon with only 1 speed.. 'Charged a nearly 25% premium for a 1.2 kg elderly dog who can't even bark! "Breakfast" was a bowl of 3 in one coffee packets and a cold pot of congee - no staff in sight. Considering there were only 2 guests, it might have behooved management to take care of them.
