The breakfast area is situated in a nice relaxing area with sea view on one side and the swimming pool on the other side . The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful . I strongly recommend it .

Reviewed By rahgovinWe had an amazing stay at Villa Marandi during our trip to Naxos. From the moment we made the booking, Georgia and the rest of the staff made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. They arranged for a baby cot and high chair for our 1-year old, who had a blast exploring the beautiful property and the private beach nearby. The location was perfect for us, away from the bustle of Naxos town, but easy enough to get anywhere in about 10 minutes. The entire staff was very friendly and we were treated like family throughout the trip. Would definitely be back another day for a longer stay.

Well-Maintained Hotel and Super Friendly Staff
Reviewed By 33relanzonafI highly commend its customer service as their staff like, Alexandra, Maria and Georgia are very welcoming and friendly. They always extend their hands for any assistance we need. Food in the restaurant is also great and tasty. Maria offered to us their menu of the day which is Stuffed Zuchini and it didn’t fail us. We all loved it. Room is spotless. Very well-maintained and linens are fabulous! Very comfy accommodation. Beach is just a few meters walking from the hotel you can actually see it on top outside your room. Buffet breakfast is fabulous too and we really loved it. Hopefully, next year we will comeback on this hotel. It is highly commendable. Thanks Golden Sun Naxos for the wonderful experience we had.

Wonderful hotel and service
Reviewed By paestum70I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is impeccably clean, the rooms are well designed and comfortable. The service was consistently outstanding. I wasn't feeling very well at all (food poisoning a day before I arrived) and Irina at the restaurant was so warm and attentive- she made me simple and delicious food. By the end of my stay I really had a chance to enjoy her cooking which was wonderful. My only complaint was that the first two nights I was in a room with AC that didn't work. By the end of the stay it was fixed. Otherwise I recommend this hotel.

B- Hotel for only herd of tourists
Reviewed By DinocompanyAvoid as there are excellent options . The hotel is about 10 minutes from main port and Hora. It has a feel of a B- class hotel, from the furniture to the little dry, East German reminding, soaps who crumble in your hand. There is a kitchenette, but no dish soap :( . Common , think things through. The shower is with a curtain of thin materials, letting all water out. Large groups of tourist , smoking on the breakfast steps , betraying that they are cater to “cow herds” of tourist , not upscale travelers. The painful track to the beach, will discover the worse rock , impenetrable lava formation. To add insult to injury, they put us in a donkey stable of room, while the ignorant and arrogant receptionist told us “is the best” . After a blackmail of €60 we were given the room that the picture was taken . There are amazing options in Naxos, hospitable people , why book with a hotel whose call center is even in Athens , and they don’t you Allow to reach reception? We had amazing luck in the Glyfada beach and hotel abs restaurant. Choose smart , avoid this B- establishment.

Reviewed By CLoveTravel000We spent 8 nights in this hotel and there is nothing else to say than "Wonderful". Hotel is excellent, the view is exceptional, the swimming pool is incredible. We loved this hotel and we can't wait to go back there again. The service is perfect and all the employees are really kind and helpful. Our room was more than nice, large, very confortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Another advantage : the hotel was very quiet.

A great place to relax
Reviewed By daviddA282OMIf you're looking for a place close to town, this is not the place. But if you're looking for a comfortable place to relax ON THE BEACH, this is the ideal place. It is relatively secluded, i.e., there isn't a property immediately next door on either side. It is a great place to sit either on your porch or in the restaurant, which is a large patio area open on 3 sides but covered, to sip wine, drink beer, or have a coffee. The service is fantastic and Haido (spelling?), the woman who ran the place, was wonderful! She was always charming and helpful doing her best to make us comfortable and feel welcome. On two occasions she had us driven into town, usually a 15 Euro taxi ride. The breakfast, which was included for us, was pretty good and was a full one, not just what we in America call a continental. We also had at least one dinner and it was very good (the Octopus and fish were great!). We had our own porch area from which we could sit and watch the ocean. From the open air restaurant, one can watch the sun set. The patio faces the sea and one can see the Island of Paros just a short distance away. Like all of the hotel rooms we stayed at in Greece, when you took the key out, the electricity stopped meaning you couldn't charge your devices or keep the room cool. The air conditioning was a little under powered but it kept the room reasonably cool during Greece's hottest spell since 1987. The room was clean and the sheets and towels were changed every day. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the room size was comparable to other hotels we stayed at. There was a place on our porch to hang our laundry. There were umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach sand and there were several other places to sit and relax on the way to the beach (it is beach front but it is a large front) one of which is featured in the stock photos. I recommend the Pirgos Stelida particularly if you are on Naxos to relax.
