We used this as a base for going to Atins and they kindly stored our bags and arranged transport. Thank you very much for your help!

Reviewed By Frederico CIt is quite strange the no hand-towel policy adopted by this hotel. Typical Ibis room, not very spacious with a small bathroom. Location is OK, even though quite far from the São Luis historical center.

Reviewed By OscarL766I spent the weekend in this wonderful Pousada while visiting the Lencois Maranhenses National Park. Everything about the Pousada is great, the attention of the staff was spectacular, the ladies in the front desk always willing to help with a smile in the face. Breakfast was awesome and the rooms were excellent, very quiet, perfect for reading, relax, and just simply disconnect from the hustle of the city. For those that need to stay somewhat connected, the internet is perfect to reply to all emails and make internet calls. Finally, it's very inexpensive, if you are on the budget, like me, Pousada Vasto Horizonte won't disappoint you. Overall, Pousada Vasto Horizonte is excellent, 5 star is not enough.

Very bad quality budget hotel
Reviewed By AnonimoBrasilI used this hotel when arrived in Sao Luis and for my last day. The first stay was ok. I just noted they give you only a bath towel. No face or foot towel. Which is ok. However in our last stay it was worse. They gave us a dirty and poor maintained room on the 2nd floor. After I complain they changed the room on the same floor which was a little better but still very bad maintained room. Bathroom door, floor, tile, all not well maintained. I stayed in more simple hotel better than here. The breakfast is just ok. Nothing special and not really good. It still expensive for what they offer. Not recommended

Reviewed By Francois CInfrastructure is not a strong point in Imperatriz. The area is developing but still poor and in dire need of major capital investments. That applies to hotels in the city. Posseidon does not offer outstanding luxury, but it seems to be better funded than other places. It is clean, safe and enjoyable. Location is very central. The breakfast is nice and food quality is above average. The gym is tiny, but there are 2 functioning treadmills and an elliptical machine + a few free standing weights. It may not be the best value hotel you'll ever stay in, but staying anywhere else would be a whole different experience that I would not recommend if you're travelling on business or if you are used to "Western Standards".

The stay in this pousada had been Ok accordingly to the need you have during trip like this. I mean you don't need luxury option, but space, good breakfast and a good rest. Walking distance from the town to get a good restaurant. Easy pickUp and dropOff, for any transfer you need to go visiting the area around. Following the rule above, me, my family and friends (a group of nine), all of us had been satisfied by this place. It's a good option to stay here.
