The Kamelia is a well appointed, recently refurbished, family run hotel with 14 rooms, all en-suite, all air conditioned, mainly twin bedded and each with its own small balcony. Within easy reach of safe golden beaches, excellent restaurants, cafes, bars and shops with lots to see and do, just a relaxing stroll away from the hotel. For the slightly more adventurous, there are numerous car hire, bus and taxi services plus organized excursions to take you further afield. A buffet style, continental breakfast is included as standard and we have our own Garden Bar with free sun beds. The usual facilities, for example, maid service, safety deposit boxes, snacks and beverages etc. are available together with help and advice from family members with an excellent command of English. So for that really relaxing holiday the Hotel Kamelia and our family are here waiting to welcome you to one of our most gorgeous and unspoiled Greek Islands.

I booked to go before lockdown and was so happy I could go this year at last and what an amazing time I had with my companion who is nearly blind but enjoyed the experience. Where do I start? Amazing beds and pillows so comfy . Bonus because we need a good night's sleep. Rooms kept spotless and all staff friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast with lots of options liked the Greek touches and fresh herbs. Mamma does nice eggs her job! Went to the beach over the road far from the maddening crowd take your sunbeds. Nice cocktails in bar etc hope to return again. Thank you Elenia x

From the minute we checked in until we checked out yesterday we loved every minute at the hotel. We would totally recommend to anyone who is considering visiting to visit as you will not regret booking this lovely hotel. The hotel is owned and run by Dimitris and Sofia with help from their lovely family and staff who all made us feel very welcome, from the moment we checked in until we left for home. We were made to feel like friends, which was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We were given lots of useful information about places to visit during our holiday from Sofia, Dimitris and the many returning guests, many who have visited numerous times, which demonstrates how great the hotel is. Rooms We were very pleased with our room which we paid to upgrade, an amazingly comfortable bed. The room was very clean, with fresh towels every 2-3 days. There is no lift at the hotel so if you have mobility issues it might be worth requesting a ground floor room. Food/Drink The breakfast was very good with many different choices, both hot and cold, all replenished frequently. We ate in the hotel at lunchtime and what ever we ordered was delicious. There was a very good selection of spirits which were poured generously from the Olive Tree Bar every night by Dimitris, they even had pink gin, so this was a big vote winner from me. My husband enjoyed the beer which was served in ice cold glasses, very welcome after a hard day in the sun! We loved the evenings at the bar as there was always a friendly welcome from Dimitris and Sofia, plus we met lots of lovely people there for a chat- Pauline and Alan, Pat and Mike, John and Liz, the Manchester Ladies, and the many other people we chatted to, thank you for your company. We ate dinner in the many different Tavernas along the beachfront, all within a 10-15 minute walk, Krambousa, Green Sea and Korali were our favourites. Beach/Pool The pool area is lovely, very clean, with sun beds which were not reserved at silly o’clock, there were plenty of sun beds at anytime of the day. The pool is a good size for swimming with a shallow end for children. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away and worth visiting. You don’t have to pay for the use of the beds/umbrellas as long as you buy a drink from the Taverna where the beds are situated, You can also use the toilet facilities. The beach is sandy with lovely warm water. Excursions We hired a jeep for 2 days, arranged by the hotel, and had a great couple of days exploring the Island. We drove to the top of the Ipsarion mountain which was worth the 2 hour drive along the hairpin roads as the views were magnificent, but if you are not a confident driver Tui also have an excursion there. The Korina is a lovely hotel with such friendly owners and staff who make everyone’s holiday a memorable one and we will definitely be returning. A special thank you to Athina, who together with Sofia and Dimitris, looked after us brilliantly. Thank you so much.

Small things make great impact so...thank you, Stavros, for being a host we could not dare to have. Location is perfect, accommodation is warm and cosy, cleaning services are good, facilities are good. we came with small baby and the apartment met all of our constrains. looking forward to come back next year!

Good location and room but food not 4 star
Reviewed By BubicelHotel has good location in Skala Potamia, the room is spacious and nice, specially superior room. Nice garden, swiming pool, a small but nice terrace, the outside amenities nice. Peaceful. 350 m to the beach. Hotel is on a dirt, country road. Beautiful area, olives garden. The food is not 4 star. Breakfast is the same every day, boring. The dinner is not 4 star, they have as a fish only pangasius, no traditional food, few dishes, and barely you can find something delicious. From 7 nights only 1 dinner was ok. I recommend not to take dinner there, only breakfast. The hotel is full with germans, and because Covid rules, everything is strange. At 9 pm they close restaurant and bar. The swiming pool they close at 7. Everybody with mask and plastic gloves, looks awful....you can't stay after 9 pm at the terrace in restaurant, they close and they look strange to you....The price for drinks at the dinner are not low. Recommandation-take dinner at local tavernas not at hotel. For the beach go on the right or left side of the area. The other problem is with cleaning room. For a 4 star hotel they clean only at 2 days, not every day. So, hotel is good for location and garden, nice room, not good for food and no fun there, boring. Go at dinner to local tavernas, it will be better food and greek feeling. If I will be back, I come only for location and room, not for food.

Reviewed By DobraRazvanIt is a great location on Golden Beach a 2 minute walk to the beach. It is cleaned daily, very attentive to details. You have at your disposal a mini equipped kitchenette, espresso machine with 4 free capsules that are completed daily, iron and ironing board, clean towels and shower accessories. The host, Mr. Kostas, is very kind and available with any information. I highly recommend this location for a successful stay.

The room was clean and very nice. The pool was just what we needed for a dive every morning. But what was more than perfect was breakfast! Rich, tasty, with lots of choices. Excellent place, beautiful people!

Reviewed By DaglaroglouPool was very important for us, so we had a rather limited range of hotels to choose from. Ariadni was among the reasonably priced hotels including pool, so we chose it. The hotel is located in Skala Potamias, one of the bigger settlements of Thassos. It is located near one of the best beaches of the island (Chrissi amoudia-Golden beach) and there are plenty of super markets and restaurants nearby. Ariadni is a great place for families. It is very quiet, with many big trees and nice grass all over. There is a pool bar and a small reastaurant for breakfast. The breakfast itself is not something extraordinary, but it's well above average and offers everything a family could want. The rooms are very clean and they get cleaned by the staff every day. We were a 4-member family, so we got a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. The room with the double bed was very spacious, but the bunk bed was placed in the entrance hall, near the refrigerator and the sink. Not the best solution, but it's easily forgiven if we consider the price of the hotel and the rest of its advantages. The pool was very, very clean. The hotel manager was very nice, friendly and helpful. Overall, the Hotel deserves five star, mainly because of its price/value ratio and it's well worth the money. Highly recommended.

Διώροφο με 2 άνετα υπνοδωμάτια τα οποία διαθέτουν aircondition με λειτουργία health,ντουλάπες,κομοδίνα καθρέπτη και μπαλκόνι ξεχωριστό. Τα δωμάτια διαθέτουν 2 μπάνια, Σαλονοκουζίνα με γωνιακό καναπέ πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα και barbeque. εξαιρετικά καθαρό ,100 μέτρα από την παραλία και δίπλα από τα καταστήματα. Καθημερινά καθαρά σεντόνια και πετσέτες ..Οι ιδιοκτήτες ευγενικοί και εξυπηρετικοί οι οποίοι φροντίζουν για τα πάντα όλες τις ώρες. περάσαμε υπέροχα και το ευχαριστήθηκα απεριόριστα... Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα και θα ξαναπάω.......
