The air conditioning and the wifi work very well Breakfast is varied, with quality ingredients The negative The noise. The cleaning staff start at 8.30 and seem to go on the whole day. Noise of moving furniture, slammed doors and vacuum cleaning is bothersome. This could be minimized by asking cleaning staff not to slam door, and by fitting pads under the chairs so the they are less noisy when moved The second issue is the beach. It is not sand but small pebble, very uncomfortable to walk on. There is nothing the hotel can do about it but is a problem for those who came to enjoy the sea.

Hot rooms, hard beds, thin walls
Reviewed By TimeTrippingThe area is really nice, the beach is in the walking distance. The hotel has its own beach, use that rather than the public one. The beach towel from the hotel is 5€. That's all I can say about positive things. The room has a conditioner for 5€/day but at least in our room it was directed straight to the bed thus we couldn't keep it on during nights. However, although the conditioner was on all day in the room, as soon as we switched it off for night, the room became a hotspot and to get at least some sleep, we had to switch it back for 15 minutes during the night. I got terribly sweaty and swollen by mornings. In addition, we were eaten by mosquitos during nights. The beds are hard and pillows thin. There is no isolation between the walls, you hear your neighbours talking. The breafast is minimum, same stuff every morning. You have to ask the staff for each cup of coffee separately. The bread is not freshly baked but taken from packages. Choose this area for your vacation but not this hotel!

Amazing hotel
Reviewed By amberasunWe went there with my husband and it was a perfect little family hotel. The staff was cheerful, friendly and thoughtful. They created a very fun atmosphere! We are especially thankful to administrator Giedre and Antonio who helped us to settle in and gave us tips where to go sightseeing. There is a beautiful lighthouse and panoramic view to Stromboli volcano right next to the hotel. The hotel is suitable for relaxing but also you can party until 12pm in the pool bar where magnificent bartender makes great cocktails (especially mohito). In the daytime they play Italian music by the pool and it makes you feel the Italian spirit (big thank you to Maggie and her partner!) The hotel area is nice and clean and the furniture is new. When we first came to our room it smelled wonderful! And there were flower petals on the pillows which was a very nice touch. You can also see the sea from basically every room in the hotel because the hotel stands in the middle of the cape. The breakfast had smaller range of food but the croissants, pastries and coffee was great. For dinner we had two dishes and we could choose either pasta or meat/fish + dessert. Ciro wine with dinner is a must! The shuttle to the beach and back was included and there were no inconveniences with it. The sea is clear as crystal and the colour is emerald like. I recommend renting a car for a few days, there's Avis company close by and our experience with it was satisfactory. Overall I would come here again it is a very sweet place. This is a perfect spot if you want to enjoy a relaxing holiday together with your family. As children already ask about next holiday at this hotel it is always our first choice when deciding where to spend our holidays. Easy access via train or car (free car parking is available), good quality of meals, clean with crystal clear water beach nearby makes this place special for us. Thank you all for welcoming us every time!

Reviewed By jamaicalThis hotel/resort seems to have different meal packages that you can purchase. We had breakfast and dinner but we had to pay extra for a bottle of water/wine. They only deal in cash at the front desk where you purchase a 20 euro punch card. So choose what you purchase wisely otherwise you will be stuck buying another 20 euro punch card even though you just want a pop for 2 euros. They also require cloth bathing caps to be worn in the pool which they sell for 2 euros (on your punch card). The breakfasts were pretty good with beverages included. The dinner always started with pasta (al dente) and then you choose either meat or fish. Nothing fancy but not something I would normally order. The pool area was nice with lounge chairs and quite a few umbrellas. The entertainment crew entertained from morning till night. Nice crew but hardly speak any english so we did sign language. You may want to make sure of what room you are getting. We ended up with a basic cottage across the busy street. We were a little taken back at first but no kids seem to be over there so it was a quiet area with lots of parking. The room wasn't too big and the shower was small. AC worked great. No ice. They had nightly entertainment but in Italian. It looked like they were having great fun. Don't expect a broadway production! They have a shuttle every couple hours to the beach (10 minutes away). Ask for a beach umbrella from the van. Pizza place down the street supposed to be good. Book with care.

The campsite includes an area of 30.000 square feet including 300 places for campers, roulottes and tents, and they are all few meters far from the wonderful beach and the crystal clear water of the Tyrrenean Sea. village For the ones who prefer a more comfortable overstay, our village is provided with 30 semi-detached apartments that have 1 or 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen with fridge, stoves and appliances and a living room. Facilities The campsite "La Scogliera" is provided with a restaurant, a pizza-restaurant, a bar and a market, all by the sea, and it's possible to eat any meal, from breakfast to dinner, admiring the wonderful shores during the day, and the suggestive sunsets in the evening. For your fun "La Scogliera" gives you an equipe of entertainers that will delight you with beach games, cabaret, music and dance. For the children we have a miniclub and a beautiful fenced playground by the sea. For adults and young ones a Balilla football field, a ping pong table and a pedaló are available, to have fun with your family or your friends practicing healthy sport. Reviewed By kateesha9What a wonderful discovery on our first night. This is the perfect place for a sunset dinner. Francesco, the head server took care of us - we were served several specialties of the region meanwhile watching the Stromboli volcano lava stream across the ocean!!

This is a family run hotel in Capo Vaticano & they really treat you as special guests. Even completing our Government Covid forms with us. The hotel is very clean inside & out. Warm showers, comfortable beds. The views are amazing & on a clear day you can see Sicily. The breakfast is a lovely selection & evening meals are the best, serving local fresh food, cooked to perfection. Local wine is very good too. We have stated in other hotels in the area, but this is the best. Cannot wait to return. Thank you all so much & loved celebrating my birthday with you. Grazie Mille x
