Reviewed By Rinaldo CVery clean, my room was really new with modern bathroom and furniture. The staff is really nice and made a lot of effort to make us comfortable. The food in their bakery and restaurant were excellent, everything fresh.

Reviewed By kkrhiannonMy cousin got married to a girl whose family is from San Lucido...what a wonderful Coastal Town! The entire hotel was booked with our family members and the Rehersal Dinner was here as well. The rooms were large ... our bed was on a loft upstairs. The air conditioner was broken in our room and it was hot, summer time (June) but in Italy a/c is definately a luxury. My son loved the dungeon they have where pirates used to keep their prisoners and best of all we walked a short block to Mediterrean Sea and Beach. Sea Urchins and other sea life were abundant and the water was amazing. The food at the rehersal dinner was delicious and there is a small restaurant across the street that had the best spaghetti we've ever had and actually made our food to order for a great price.

Very nice property, great host
Reviewed By MZRWe were driving along the coast with no hotel reservations for the night and made a last-minute decision to stay at B&B La Mia Valigia; we were very pleased with our decision. This property consists of just a few units. We stayed in the Sognatori room on the top floor, with it's pitched ceiling and decent size this was a great choice. The bed was comfortable, the flooring and wall tiles were nice and the location is just a short walk to the water. Our room was decorated with paintings from a local artist, a great difference from the store-bought prints you usually find in rooms. The bathroom was cute; the shower area was a little small but worked well. Breakfast (coffee, juice and a pastry) was delivered to the room, a nice touch. It was a little challenging to find the property, but I mostly blame our nav system for this. Alberto, the owner/host, was very pleasant and most accommodating. He rightfully takes pride in his property. If your travels take you to San Lucido, La Mia Valigia is a great place to stay.

Reviewed By precenzanorUn'appartamento stupendo con un terrazzino che si affaccia su un panorama spettacolare, che riempie gli occhi e il cuore. La padrona di casa gentilissima e discreta, ma sempre presente all'occorrenza. C'è solo un problema, può indurre a dipendenza, non vorrete più andare via e se lo farete sarà a malincuore. Stiamo già pensando a quanto potremo ritornare. Caty grazie di tutto.

Reviewed By 460gdSplendida paese, dalla sua rocca digrada dolce verso il mare, ricco di storia, morì e vichinghi sembra ancora siano vive presenze nei volti, nei colori e nei sapori. Cultura e cibo si sposano in un felice connubio in ristoranti come Thema, lo storico peppone e il lido Miami Mare che ancora sussurra, culla e talvolta con la sua forza distrugge. Dispiace aver visto nel corso di decenni l'erosione inesorabile di spiagge meravigliose, frutto di politiche dissennate, con la distruzione dii magnifica macchia mediterranea per far posto ad una inutile ferrovia litoranea, nonché il disprezzo del bene comune per egoismi e favori personali. In ogni caso un luogo dove ancora è possibile sentire e respirare il mare, un luogo da vedere, visitare e vivere.
