Reviewed By cemalk9494We have been with my wife and 2 years old daughter in this hotel 6 - 8 May . The rooms are big enough and clean with beautifull view . Employees are very polite and helping for anything you ask . The location is perfect if you are coming with ferry from kusadası its 10 mint. driving from port to hotel.

Reviewed By MalcolmthehackI was in Samos for a day on business and wanted somewhere to base myself. But my assignment was prolonged by circumstances beyond my control. And that's when the delights of Scorpios revealed themselves. The pool is splendid. Deep, big enough to do laps and gloriously clean on a balcony overlooking a cove. The best surprises came at breakfast time. Travellers to Greece know all about dreadful hotel breakfasts with anaemic cheese and pink cold slices of meat of indeterminate origin. But Nancy prides herself on stimulating the palates of her guests with a constantly changing display of Samos kouzina, or cuisine. There were delicacies I have never seen before, having been coming to Greece for over thirty years. Feta cheese with home made chilli marmalade. Carrot marmalade flavoured with lemon scented geranium, fluffy omelettes with feta tomato and oregano. Many of the fresh organic ingredients came from the hotel garden. Yoghurt with sour cherries. Maybe when finish all the process it will be a great place to be there, now is a little disapointing...

Very pleasant stay
Reviewed By Elias_AlphaThe hotel might be old fashioned and in need of some TLC, but we really enjoyed our stay here. We had room 121 which was big and had a big balcony. The shower is tiny. Really tiny and no shower curtain, so the bathroom becomes a wet room. The breakfast was nice. The owner is such a lovely man and we enjoyed talking to him. Definitely worth a stay.

Reviewed By Simbo1956I arrived in Samos ill and exhausted from my previous journey.I just wanted to get back home and Samos was the departure point towards that goal.I didnt even have the energy to look for an hotel and my daughter found one for me just because it shares the same name as me.Hotel NOTIS.That alone was good for a laugh .When you come out of the ferry in Vathi- Samos port -- all you got to do is drive North Bound along the water front , and just past the city's hospital, is this little charming hotel , absolutely drowning in Jasmin trees and flowers.The room i was given was not big, but i dont need big rooms and this was big enough.It had an amazingly comfortable bed with double giant pillows , plugs and outlets everywhere for me to charge all my equipement and then a kitchen area with a table and a absolutelly lovely small terrace to my self.There's no view as such to write home about, but what matters is that i had a lovely -albeit short- stay.What caught my eye instantly , is the amount of attention to detail the owners have given to everything.There's not a paint line out of place , not a scratch not a stain , not a chipped tile .Nothing.Everything is immaculate.Terrace doors and windows are sound proof so theres no noise from the road that passes right in front of the small hotel.More than anything i will remember the owners kindness.The young woman running the place was more than attentive and kind.Cannot forget that on the night of my arrival , she waited up for me at 02.30 A.M, though she was ill and on medication.Talk about hospitality!!If i ever go back to Samos--and i should- i will stay in NOTIS hotel again.

Reviewed By ddroleThe hotel is quite old. The decorations are from another age. Needs renovation. But location is by the sea but closest beach is 15 minutes walk away. Hotel has a pool on the top floor from where is amazing view. Breakfast good, eggs, ham, sausage, yogurt, fruit.... Staff helpful. Hotel clean as can be because of the conditions of furniture

It also provides the opportunity for quiet and relaxing holidays as it is situated about 150 m from the center of the village Ireon and 15 - minute walking distance from the Temple of Hera. All 25 rooms have refrigerators, are fully air-conditioned and have there own balcony with small tables and arm-chairs.The hotel follows the traditional architecture of the island Samos. There is a reception, lounge with satellite TV, wireless internet, cocktail-bar, breakfast room and veranda with magnificent sea view.The access to the various sandy beaches near the hotel is very easy (a street across the hotel leads directly to the seafront); the nearest pebbles beach is only 150m away.The swimmingpool is newly build (2008) where you can have a refreshing swim. At the poolbar you can taste the beautiful wine of samos, ouzo, local beers and cocktails, a nice chat with other guests or just relax and enjoy your time!

Poppi and Yanis (and the other staff) are the most lovely people. They are very friendly and helpful. Thanks you so much, we had a great time. We would definitely go back there. Reviewed By Ornella CI stayed there for 2 weeks and loved the hotel. The owner is very kind and will do everything to make your stay as confortable as possible! My room has sea view. The breakfast is also great. Totally recommend it.
