11 rooms are housed in 3 separate cottages. Separate entry with balcony. All rooms are furnished with good linen and 10 inches spring mattress. Attached spacious toilets with warm and hot water. Rooms are floored with wood. Wall are also wood paneled. Heaters provided if required. TV on demand. Rooms are provided with tea makers and accessories.

Reviewed By ayaneshBeautiful place, well maintained. Very efficient, friendly staff and manager. Owner is also helpful. We had a great time here. Barfung retreat is totally worth your time and money. Rooms are neat and clean. All amenities necessary are provided. Balcony has beautiful view of forests and mountains. We'll maintained lawns and flower plants. It is a great place to find peace and tranquility in the heart of nature that too in the majestic himalayan landscape of Sikkim. Management provides contacts with taxis with reasonable fares.

Reviewed By krmr1953Hotel rooms ambience services and food are excellent. There was power cut for more than 16hrs a day duri g our stay. But we were comfortable as the generator was on. Only defect is WiFi. That should be rectified. As the hotel is closer to Buddha park, we could visit it when ever we feel like. Thanks to Arun bhagath of Travel zone Sikkim for arranging this beautiful hotel.

Reviewed By Farukkhanwbnever stay in this hotel We are visit 16 person at month of april..staff behaviour is very bad.its good only for top 2 room.which is good virew..but most of charging power is not active.and manager told that "you can complain anywhere".. Some of my friend ask food for his children but they denied..and most horiable things that bloodsucker(joke) in evryroom.. for one mug hot water spent your more than 1 hr for heat..allmost all gyeser are so late.. So pls dont stay here..

Reviewed By manas1801Jaw dropping view of snow capped Kanchenjunga right from your bedroom - it is far better than what any photo can capture! Added thrill is the ride to this resort! Food was amazing and staff very friendly! Stayed for 2 days in Everest (best view) and K2 rooms.. Our dogs too had amazing time!

Reviewed By vishmehr24We spent 6 days at Hotel Zumthang Ravengla. It has fine views of snowclad mountains, great Tibetan cooking, and good service. Rooms were good with wooden flooring and panelling. Heating was provided. An extension is being built.

Beautiful location, great peace & friendly staff

On the last moment we added it and believe me it was one of the best experiences of the trip largely due to the Buddha park and the beautiful hotel LookBoong. The hotel is on the main road near to the taxi stand & main attraction Buddha park. It is a clean, peaceful place with great view from the hotel rooms. Just sit and relax. Everything is fantastic specially the staff is young, very friendly, eneregetic and cooperative. The veg food was just superb. We sung, danced and a lot of fun with the staff. A true holiday place to stay. We cant forget the experience for a long time. Thanks LookBoong.

Felt really UPSET!!!
Reviewed By Karma444First of all, the receptionist is one ignorant guy who doesn’t know that couples are welcome in the hotel if they have id of different state or country. Secondly, I think he has syndrome of couple phobia and does not even care if you stay or leave. I am a Buddhist and since I know this hotel is run to help a monastery, I wanted to contribute in some ways but really got offended by the receptionist. Lastly, every hotel receptionist has a duty to talk properly to the customer when they show up at the doorstep, but instead of evaluating the entire situation, without listening he just kept saying no. I hope the monastery staff will take this into consideration. P.s I am an old guest of this hotel.

Great view with tranquility
Reviewed By Soumita DThe hotel is a new property and has a beautiful view. The room provided to us was quite big, well maintained, clean and has a balcony which offered great view. It is located in a very quite place away from chaos. Tarak da (manager) and his cook are very cordial people who are always there to help you. The food is delicious and served in good cutlery. Overall we had a great time, one of the best stay of our vacation.
