Incorrect billing, wrong taxing
Reviewed By musiretoiWith the unbeatable location so close of the main central square and the downtown area of the city of Posadas, the modern building, a very good buffet breakfast, large and magnificent rooms, the courteous staff, a lovely bar and restaurant, I had the unpleasant experience of improper billing as I was applied the wrong taxing with an unauthorized charge in the payment method provided for the extras in the minibar. As I checked in with my Italian passport, no VAT or IVA for the stay should have been applied for he fact that my booking was done in a foreign hotel portal and guests checking in with an overseas passport are exempt of VAT/IVA taxing in Argentine hotels. I would say this fact could prevent me of reserving this establishment again in the future as the province of Misiones is so welcoming and I have another trip for the same area.

mid/low budget Ok Hotel
Reviewed By Matias TThis is an Ok hotel for mid/low budget. It is located near downtown (4 blocks away). Rooms have air conditioning (it’s not super normal en posadas ) and the breakfast is ok/good. In my opinion, this is not a place you go for holidays but if you need to stop by in Posadas and don’t want to spent much money, this is a good option

Close to the airport
Reviewed By Malcolm BWe stayed at this largish hotel whilst waiting for a plane flght to Buenos Aires. It is close and convenient but not the exciting resort that the advertising makes it out to be. The waterfall is a cascade of water over some rocks and the lake seems to be a man made pond. The restaurant served up a good meal whilst we were waiting for our room to be prepared. It was good to see that a life guard was present at the swimming pool, however the smoke detector was missing from the room. Not a place for us to holiday but a convenient and clean pit stop on the road to somewhere else.

Nice staff, but more like a condo hotel
Reviewed By Traveling_Eric8I stayed here for 6 nights. The staff is very nice and courteous. The 2 girls there are very sweet and kind. The 2 guys are kind and helpful. This place is more like a condo complex turned hotel. There is no restaurant and they bring breakfast to your room after 7 or 7:30 am. I don’t remember since I always left the hotel so early for work and I didn’t get to try their breakfast. Although from what I could see one day, it was just a croissant, crackers, candy bar and a juice, so it wasn’t great. They offer offsite parking which is great, about 300 meters away. The hotel is in the city center. The rooms have a kitchen area, with a stove, refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom and bedroom are right past the kitchen area. The whole place is pretty large and well kept. The WiFi in the kitchen area was better than the bedroom. There is a jacuzzi on the top floor, but I never got a chance to try it out. I did like the staff, but I prefer more traditional hotels. Also it felt weird having to give your room card to the staff every time you leave the hotel, but it’s nice not having to carry it with you.

Nice staff and decent rooms
Reviewed By Traveling_Eric8I stayed here for 4 nights, but I wish I booked another hotel. The WiFi in the rooms is really bad. The only area to get good WiFi is in the lobby and restaurant. They really need to get some signal boosters. There is some water damage and mold in certain areas. I booked this hotel mainly because of the free parking and pretty good reviews. The breakfast was decent, not hot options thought. I didn’t check out the pool area, because it was raining so much and the weather got a little cool. Although the staff does make up for these imperfections. The staff is very kind and attentive.

El desayuno es muy bueno, Hugo fue muy buen anfitrión y se encargó de asegurarme opciones veganas para mí, lo cual agradezco muchísimo. La habitación tenía baño privado, placard, TV y aire acondicionado. Toda la estadía fue muy relajada, mucha tranquilidad y un gran servicio. Está bastante cerca de la costanera y del centro, en una zona que parecía bastante tranquila (lo que recorrí) Definitivamente eligiría posada La Hermosa si regresara a Posadas y recomiendo que otros la elijan.

Very ideal for a stopover!
Reviewed By Luca PWe arrived at 1am at the bus terminal and the taxi brought us to the hosteria. Very friendly we could check-in so late! The room was rather small but the bed very comfortable! The room was clean but unfortunately we had the room with an open whole in the wall (not big, used to be the old A/C) so in the morning a cockroach came for a visit. The breakfast was ok, enough bread for everyone. It is very ideal for a stopover when crossing posadas with the omnibus for example.

Friendly,welcoming and very clean
Reviewed By Derry MI spent 4 nights at this hotel last April.This is a lovely place to stay.The room was spacious and very clean and serviced whenever I requested.Breakfast was excellent each morning and the staff were super friendly...I want to mention in particular Elena,Leila,Brian and Dario....This hotel is reasonably central-a short walk to the centre of Posadas....I am happy to recommend this hotel and gladly give it 9 out of 10.
