Courtyard by Marriott Pilsen

Best Experience Ever

Reviewed By 988mickeyh

My wife and I were in Pilsen to attend the Liberation Festival. We were scheduled to fly home on May 12 so I took a COVID-19 test on May 11. I tested positive. I was required to isolate for seven days. What could have been a horrible week was made enjoyable by the wonderful staff at the Courtyard. Everyone was fantastic. Checking to see what we needed. Asking what they can do for us. The entire staff was treating us like we were family. As good as they were one young lady was incredibly helpful. Natalie, the front desk manager, went way beyond what anyone could even dream of to help us. I won't list the things she did to help us because the list would be too long. You have heard the term, Went the extra mile. Natalie circled the globe as she continued to step up to provide much needed assistance. Much of which was done on her own personal time. We can't wait to return to Pilsen and the Courtyard by Marriott to see the fabulous caring staff. And to tell Natalie once again how much we appreciate everything she did for us.

One night stopover

Reviewed By Q3539HTtomh

Happened upon the Chateau Zbiroh when searching for hotels to stop at during our road trip to Hungary. Perhaps expensive by Czech standards, but we only paid slightly more than we had for a pokey little room at Frankfurt airport the previous night and ended up with a whole suite. Amazing views from the courtyard where we scoffed down a delicious and reasonably priced dinner, plus a good nights sleep imagining we were royalty from years gone by. Only slight criticism was the atmosphere at breakfast, really could have done with some music or something, as it felt like the rest of the hotel was just sitting in silence and staring at us while my 4-year-old son lectured us on why he doesn’t like sausages (with a mouth full of sausages) and quizing me on why knights are real but dragons aren’t.

Good Location and Value

Reviewed By BeyondPrague

We recently spent a week in Pilsen and used Hotel Palace for our accommodation. Our room was very clean with a good quality bed and a well equiped bathroom. Breakfast was the typical continental self serve type of affair and more than adequate to our needs. Were the hotel really shines is in its location. It's located on a quiet street, but is easy walking distance from the main square in the centre of the city and the Pilsner Urquell brewery. Additionally, there is a well stocked supermarket less than five minutes walk from the hotel. So, if you're a self catering sort or want the fixings for snacks to take on a day trip out of the city you have easy access to that as well. I have no problem recommending this place if you visit Pilsen.

fantastic location

fantastic location, inexpensive, easy to park the car in their garage - good breakfast. The room was incredibly spacious and the bathroom comfortable. What more does one need? Of course it has a 'retro feel from former times, but that is also part of the charme.
