Reviewed By ionwendBooked this hotel direct with Bruno for a three night stay to attend a wedding of UK friends. It was 10 out of 10 from start to finish. Staff very obliging and very good food. Pool clean and plenty of sun-beds. We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel!

Good location at walking distance from the trainstation and very close to the harbour where the boats for trips on lago Trasimeno are leaving. Close to shops and restaurants too. Very kindly people working at the hotel. Good breakfast buffet with all you need. Location of the hotel at the lake is super and the small swimmingpool with bar, sunloungers and view over the lake is a bonus. Have a look at the sunset there! Recommended. Good price, quality.

Reviewed By tracey12121212This is a small family run hotel. Its exactly what we wanted from our trip. The grounds are immaculate, lovely pool area and gardens, the rooms are spacious and very clean. Not luxurious but well equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds as well! What made the Montigeto stand out was Francesca (quite possibly the owner), who was always happy to help with recommendations of places to eat and visit as well as arranging transport to a wedding we were going to locally. Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to re-book here if we are ever back in this area of Italy. The hotel is about 1.5kms from the main town - easy walk aling a bike bath, which is very picturesque.

Amazing stay at this hotel!
Reviewed By Mieke MEverything was perfect about our stay in this lovely hotel. We planned on staying 1 night, but we even prolonged our stay with one more night. The host (Roberto if I remember well) was really nice and accomodating, the room was clean and big with a good bed and a great balcony, and the swimming pool was very nice as well. Not expensive at all regarding to what you get in return. I accidently broke the soap bottle and didn't even have to pay for it even though I insisted several times... The location is also very good, not far from the centre of Passignano where there are some cute bars near the water. Wouldn't have changed anything about our stay in this hotel, it was perfect! Thank you, Roberto!

Reviewed By bhamwindWe chose Hotel Trasimeno because of its great location in Passagno del Trasimeno. It turned out we made the absolute best choice. First impression was the greeting at the front desk by Katya. She spoke good English and was so warm and welcoming. The room looks plain by American standards, but the facilities are great: Brand new air conditioner, brand new (cold) minibar, ceiling fan ( first 1 ever seen in a hotel in Italy for 30 years of travel here), great shower, balcony, and fully length mirror. Most importantly, was the kindness and warmth of the people who run this hotel. Beautiful city to visit and outstanding hosts. Was a wonderful visit.

Pleasant accommodations - excellent service

We were coming from the Giostra del Saracino in Arezzo back to our base in Alba Adriatica, and decided fairly late to stay overnight rather than do the 3 hour drive through the mountains after the Giostra ended at midnight. Since lodgings in Arezzo were pretty well filled up, we decided to drive back to Passignano before stopping. We liked Hotel Darsena, but the problem was that we would be arriving at 1 AM and their office closes at 11:30 PM. We contacted the hotel by email, and received a very nice reply in English from Sasha. She agreed to give us our room key on Saturday morning as we passed through Passignano on the way to our day's activities. We came in at 1 AM and reached our room quietly. The facilities were nice and clean, and in the morning the staff laid out one of the finest free continental breakfasts I've ever seen, with salami, two cheese wheels, yogurt, cereal, croissants, bread, pastries, two kinds of juice and coffee. We explored the beautiful Lake Trasimeno in the morning, and headed back to Alba in the afternoon. We were very pleased with our stay and the value we received for our money.

The Hotel offers 35 comfortable quiet rooms, all with private facilities; some have big balconies with a marvelous view of the Lake and umbrian countryside. The rooms are of course equipped with Tv colour sat, mini bar fridge and direct-dial telephone.The Hotel, open all year long, has a spacious warm lobby with elevator, meeting room, panoramic terrace, bar, swimming - pool, solarium and private parking facilities.

Reviewed By andgagtripFriendly staff but the welcome was terrible. During check-in we just got the key without any explanation. The breakfast is buffet breakfast and is quite rich but the coffee and cappuccino from automatic machine are terrible. For dinner is possible to choose from three different first courses, three different second courses, three different side dishes and more then one option for the dessert. The beverage are covered separately. Most of the dishes that we have tried were tasty. The structure is good for its swimming pool but the building is dated and the maintenance is missing and the cleaning as well (maybe they need more staff). Despite our reservation they do not give us a room with a king size bed but two single beds where was uncomfortable to sleep with our small baby, even they have some available king size bed in the store room the owner suggest to put a towel in the middle between the two single beds. The refrigerator was not working and they do not want to change. We had to stay all the time with the balcony window close because the the balcony railing is designed with a gap from the floor that allow a child to slip through.
