Reviewed By BadlanderThis resort is run as a top notch family run establishment. We called ahead and they arranged transportation right from the Catania airport for us. We enjoyed our time here. Daniel was fantastic to deal with. He brought us whatever we needed. The food was all homemade and was so delicious. The pool was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly. Thanks for the great stay. We used the oil and vinegar we got from them every day on our ride for lunch. They even sent us off with a beautiful picnic lunch on our first day of riding. Thanks to all the staff at this resort.

Excellent location, poor hospitality
Reviewed By Keith BVisiting Agriturismo Giannavi whilst on a cycling trip between the 15th and 16th June 2019. The place is attractively set in one of the valleys close to Palazzolo Acreide but hospitality was hopeless. The management was catering for a ca. 100 guest-strong wedding and my friend and I were nothing but an afterthought. We were made to dine right next the reception guests. Being on a cycling trip we were obviously not adequately dressed for the event. The newly weds were taking pictures right next to us and judging from the bride's frown, she was wandering what on earth we were doing there. The food was edible but lacked the refinement and exquisitness usually associated with dining in Sicily. Attracting the attention of our host or his staff proved an impossible task and whilst the wedding reception was underway we were totally forgotten and/or ignored. The agriturismo infrastructure needs upgrading.

Colpiscono i dettagli di sicilianità recuperati con assoluto ingegno e amore per il vintage: qui due setacci diventano degli specchi per il bagno e una vecchia macchina da cucina Singer un oggetto di arredo unico! Lo stabile è silenzioso e dotato di ogni comfort per un tea o un aperitivo. In questa occasione abbiamo fatto colazione, con il voucher della struttura, presso la Pasticceria Infantino. Una meravigliosa granita alla mandorla con la sua brioche ha completato la splendida esperienza. Consigliatissimo.

Would certainly return. A car is a must for ease of travel. Lovely pool area though weather unfortunately was not warm enough to swim.

Words do not do not adequately describe the experience - magnificent breakfast on the terrace - romantic dinner overlooking pool - food was all amazing - service superb - friendly but not formal - special thanks to Alfio and Sante - we stayed in large Anunciata room amazing - huge bath for 2 - candles - beautiful antique furniture and paintings - we were also lucky to have met the Hotel owner Elena who was so friendly and warm and is the design creator of the hotel - the hotel design is very stylish and sophisticated - we definitely recommend and will be back

Reviewed By slocalThis is a hotel in a renovated village. However it does not seem to have been completed. The rooms are dark without good lighting or electric outlets. Our room had a shelf and soap dispenser that were coming out of the wall. Large gaps between the entry door and the hallway. The beds were very basic, with thin hard mattresses. Unfinished tile on the floor. Toilets can’t accept toilet paper. The WiFi was very good. The restaurant and breakfast offerings were good. It has recently rained and the pool was muddy. This is the most basic hotel I have stayed in several decades. There must be better alternatives.

Hidden natural beauty
Reviewed By Mark TIdeal for all of those in search of authentic local cuisine. The place is a full time farm which also does degustation of buffalo cheese, and meat. The servings are abundant, genuine and tasty. Service excellent too. For a group of 4 the cost was just €90, making it also great value for money.
