No luxury, But extremely accomodiating

As an Olympic believier I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Olympia with my close ones (a party of 16). I contacted several hotels directly both for accomodation and for an dinner event and the people from Neda turned out exceptional. This is a family run place that delivers on the legacy expectations and they certainly catered to all our needs, including the ones with limited mobility.

Great accommodation for a short visit to the area

Stayed at Leonidaion for 2 nights with my partner in September. It's in a great location, just minutes away from the archaeological site of Olympia. The accommodation was very good, modern and stylish, rather like our host Damiano himself, who was great fun! Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed an evening meal at Orestis next door. All very good!

Perfectly acceptable but noisy road right outside

Reviewed By TwentyTwentyUK

Hotel Hercules is exactly what you'd expect from a Greek 2-star hotel - functional and clean but getting a little dated. However, the pictures don't give any impression of the road directly outside that has regular traffic passing by at all times of the day from early morning to late in the evening, so it can be noisy; don't expect to be able to lay in quietly. There was a small terrace to my ground floor room but the sliding door does not lock, so it would take nothing for anyone to hop over the terrace and into the room. On the upside, it's close to some good restaurants and easily walkable to the archaeological sites.

Just fine

Reviewed By afriendinrome

Yes, it is cheap. But also a bit sad. No view, 2 minutes from the centre but it looks you are in nowhere land. The room was fine (no personality but it’s ok), the bathroom is really really small , it doesn’t feel so safe (you cannot lock the door of the apartment), big kitchen at disposal nevertheless. Good for a quick stop, as we did but in general the city of Olympia is not great, just stop for the excavation and head to the coastline.
