Great experience in the ski camp
Reviewed By milasrawgWe spent 12 days in Čarobni Breg - it was our winter holiday that our daughter used to learn skiing in hotel's ski camp... Hotel staff is great, prices very reasonable, and the nature of the Tara mountain is amazing... I hope they will get many guests in future!

Reviewed By 762radamOverall disappointing! You have to pay to enter Mecavnik but there is nothing special to be seen. Instead of tipical serbian food or drink you can have a bad coffe and american donuts?! Prices are also very high. When we visited Mecavnik it smelled on fuel also? We were there a few years ago and it was much better.

Unpleasant dinner, no duvet covers

We had an unpleasant dinner at the motel’s restaurant: the waiters didn’t speak English (but they were helpful); we ordered a mixed grill plate for two, one of the stake chops was expressly smelly, which we returned. For compensation we got a small plate of chevapchichi (that was a nice gesture), but it was rare… The exterior atmosphere of the old station is really lovely, but the services kills the experience.

Constructed of high quality wood perfectly fit into the environment. Each bungalow has a capacity of 6 beds and a kitchen at your disposal, dining room and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs.

Location of this property is excellent, walking distance to the main train station (Sarganska 8ca), Drven grad (wooden town) and Bele vode (white water). Proprietors of the property are hospitable and helpful. On top of this property has a good wi fi and mts cable tv service. Beside these bungalows have large private terraces (front porches) We have stayed in the bungalow number 2, it had a nice terrace, ground floor included a living room, kitchen, dining room and a bathroom, additional floor included two narrow bedrooms. This bungalow looked like it was filled with low end passed furniture, bathroom was filled with cheap amenities, mattress and pillows were cheap thus sleep quality was low and on top of these lighting was bad thus we had a feel that ground floor was to dark. We could not find a single pillow which could be used in the living room or on the terrace, which was unfortunate. Overall feel that we had in this property was not nice and we think that it was a combination of low end furniture, low lighting, bed sleep quality and in general not clean enough feel. Point of the topic is that my wife had an opportunity to have a look at bungalow number 4 and it did appear to be furnished with a more superior furniture, due to this if you do decide to stay here if possible cherry pick the bungalow. After 4 nights in Mokra gora we went to Tara and could compare the two similar properties back to back. In short property and location was better, in our opinion it is a better option to stay in Tara and have a short drive to Mokra gora than to stay at this location. Also if you do travel to Mokra gora try to visit Bela reka and both churches located there.

Peaceful place on a great location
Reviewed By nikolagrSRBI've stayed for 5 nights with my family and had an amazing time in Mokra Gora and in Western Serbia. The hosts are very nice, the apartment neat and beautiful. Our stay was welcomed with some coffee and tea and a bottle of homemade šljivovica! The Šarganska Osmica train station is just around the corner, and Mećavnik grad is 5 minutes by car. All other attractions are nearby and reachable by car, Višegrad, National Park Tara, Zaovine lake, Zlatibor, Stopića cave, even Uvac is an hour and a half ride. Highly recommend for everyone who want to explore this part of Serbia but also who want to stay in an amazing place with great hosts in a great location!

Middle of nowhere ?
Reviewed By miroslavan2015If you are looking for a hotel in the middle of nowhere, with uphill drive for 8 km, this is the place for you to go!!! Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is nice, staff are friendly and helpful… it’s just very very far away from everything, even a grocery shop. Room doesn’t have kettle or in fact glasses or bottled water for guests, so I would recommend you to make some shopping before you go… Payment for the hotel can only be done in the sister accommodation in the village, which is no big deal but not sure ideal… breakfast and dinner options depend on the number of guests in the hotel. If there is less than 30 guests, they only offer a la carte me u, otherwise it is classic buffet with nice variety of dishes… Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, everything’s pretty much made of wood… balcony is great size, you can sit there in the evening and watch stars… Swimming pool is coooooooold but some guests might actually like it. A bit too fresh for me :) sauna and steam are nice addition to the facility but walking to the pool and sauna you need to pass the restaurant and also a window to the kitchen, which I found abit strange… Overall really nice place to stay if you are looking for a quiet hotel in the mountains…

Ну, начну сразу с того, что мы с семьёй (2 взр. + 1 чайлд (11 лет) + ещё такая же семья друзей, пожалели, что нам предстоит остановится в этих апартаментах всего на 1 ночь. Но, таковы были планы путешествия (как мы его назвли "МЕГА-ТРИП") по маршруту: Черногория-Босния-Сербия-Албания. Итак: апартаменты-это основательный деревянный домик в красивом природном местечке возде Мокры Горы. В домике есть всё, что нужно. Комнат много, все удобства. Тихо, свежо, приятно. Рекомендую всем и минимум ночи на 3. И.... главная фишка, и достопримечательнось этого домика-апартаментов - его менеджер-распорядитель-руководитель: серб Александр. Человек-взырыв-эмоция-позитив. Встречает радушно, как будто увидел близких родных после долгих лет забвения, на любой каприз гостей - дружелюбный отзыа и почтение. Приветственные напитки (и не малом количестве). Задушевная беседа на любые темы (главное вовреия остановиться). Вобщем у Александра - всё для человека, все во благо человека. Понятно, что это его работа. Но, если бы все так работали - уже бы было всем счастье. Самые лучшие впечатления и положительные отзывы. Туда хочется вернуться ещё. Пребывание в этих апартаментах (пусть и недолгое) затмили и Мокру-Гору и ж.д.-осьмицу и Дрвенград Э. Кустурицы. А может это и по-кустурицки? А?.....

Very unfriendly owner

First of all, a 'swimming pool' is improvised bathtub placed into the ground. Owners, a man and a woman who run this place, are deceiving and rude. Here is my experience, I contacted this place by phone and reserved two rooms one for me and other for my friend's family. I asked owner (a woman), to give me a total price for two nights for me and my friends family. She told me the price is 75 EUR. I agreed, couple of days later I arrived, place was fairly nice, although 'swimming pool' was a joke. Couple who runs this place was nice enough. Two days later during check out, price suddenly become, 300 EUR, because she calculated 75 EUR x 2 (rooms) x 2 (days). I told her this is not what we agreed upon, and that was a cue for her to start insulting me, saying that i should be happy she was not charging me more as I brought two kids with me (4 and 3 years old btw). She also told me that I am probably very poor and do not know what the luxury is and how much does it cost. I was shocked and appalled and wondered how such rude person could be in hospitality industry. In any case, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!
