Reviewed By GuamboMy family spent five nights there in the beginning of July. The hotel is in a great location pretty much in the middle of the Ahrntal valley so it made for a perfect base for whatever activity in the area. (The Tourist information office is two doors down.) The Hotel is two levels up and one down. The rooms being up. No elevators. Check in was quick and easy. Free in room Wi Fi is available and worked like a charm. The room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. The mattresses new and perfect. We had a riverside room on the second floor and the sound of the river helped put us to sleep after a full day of hiking. Breakfast was simple yet quite effective. It looked unimpressive at first but once you found things, it was very good and tasty. Try the fresh yogurts and local pastries, we found them delicious and filling. Check out was easy as well. To avoid the morning rush we paid the afternoon before. All in all it was a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great value for the money.

Fantastic location in Ahrntal. In the Hotel Schwarzbachhof in Luttach in Ahrntal, guests enjoy their holidays in a family atmosphere. The host family Niederkofler looks forward to welcoming their guests to the Hotel Schwarzbachhof With the loving care and the pleasant flair in the house, the guests feel completely at ease. The typical rooms are cosy, bright and offer a wonderful view of the surrounding nature from the balconies. You are welcome also to bring your dog to the hotel. The day starts with a rich and regional breakfast buffet in the dining room, some of them are homemade, such as jams, compote, elderberry juice, dried fruit, cakes, biscuits and some bread from the bread oven. In addition cereal corner, various juices, butter, cold cuts, cheese, tyrolean bread and many more. The other rooms in the house also offer the opportunity to feel comfortable and offer plenty of space for privacy and social moments. The house bar, the typical "stube" and the dining room are popular meeting places for cozy get-togethers. During the day, the terrace or the sunny sunbathing lawn are ideal for pleasurable moments. In a small relaxation area, the sauna and steam bath provide soothing warmth, the whirlpool in the garden and the library and fitness room are popular. The holiday days fly by with the wide range of activities on offer. The hotel is close to the Klausberg and Speikboden hiking and skiing areas, so there are plenty of opportunities for leisure activities! Welcome!

feels like „dahoame“ Fronza is personal, relaxed and honest. A place to keep turning again and again. You don't feel like a guest here, you live surrounded by friends. Right in the middle of it, instead of just being there. Feel like „dahoame“- feel like at home in the warm gourmet hotel with discreet luxury. For almost 50 years it has been a meeting place between people, nature and traditions. A chat with the locals at the hotel bar, a piece of homemade apple strudel, sitting together at a South Tyrolean Marende . Switching off from everyday life. Breathe in peace in the midst of the Ahrntaler mountains. Just be who you are.

Is sure that in the next sezon i will be in this hotel because is offer me all that i wish for : great rooms, great food, excelent wellnes area, play room for kids. From hotel to the ski area you can go with bus for 10 minutes, wich is free with ski pass; or with car in 3-4 minutes! The personal from hotel is very nice, the room are very clean! So in one word EXCELENT ! I higly recomand !

Reviewed By cosmopolitanatlargeThe Aurina is a special place that nestles inconspicuously on a mountain slope and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps. I have been there in winter and summer and was always impressed by its charm. It is not one of these large and popular hotels, but a family-run establishment. I enjoyed meeting the landlords either at the reception or in the breakfast room. The wood-clad apartments exude a cozy atmosphere and are well-equipped with kitchenettes, family and bedrooms, and bathrooms with walk-in showers. By opening the windows or doors, you cannot only breathe in the clear mountain air and enjoy the majestic view, but also hear the sound of the nearby Ahrn river (Aurina). The breakfast room with its own terrace is open all day and offers coffee and tasty pastries that I enjoyed without any guilt feelings because any extra calories can be burned off easily by skiing, hiking or biking. There are amenities like a sauna, a spa, and a massage facility that I didn't take the time to use. I rather explored the fascinating environment by foot or mountain bike. I look forward to staying there again.

Reviewed By EBMalmoeLuxury is a wide term, and I think we all have different opinions of what it means. It's a good apartment hotel which is almost tastefully and fully renovated. When you book, make sure you get a fully renovated room - you may otherwise end up with a really well used rock hard bed and a bathroom from the 80's. The hotel is situated in a very quiet location, about 300m from the ski bus. We never used the bus but drove ourselves to Kronplatz (25 min) and Klausberg (10 min). In the cellar there's a "family" room, which has seen better days but is fully functional and good to use if you are traveling more than one family with kids. Then this room is good for an evening glass of wine while the kids rummage around. The pool is a jacuzzi, not a pool so don't expect to go swimming at the hotel. There are apparently very nice "thermal baths" about 30 min drive from the Erlhof. The dinners are good and plentiful - much too plentiful in my opinion, so you will not run the risk of shedding a few kilos with all that exercise in the slopes as they will add them selves right back on at 18:30. The breakfast buffet could be larger, but then again it has all the essentials and you can order eggs to your liking. So no real reason to complain here either. Friendly staff and it's all clean and tidy, as you would expect when it's a "luxury" hotel. We thought it was very good value for what we paid and all in all, if you have a car, you can choose this place and be confident the foundation for a successful holiday is laid.

Reviewed By MonoJbut just missed the sauna, as I did not know about it, fully my one fold. dinner was nice (maybe a little to much at one portion), but salad bar is good to have. staff is friendly, area is good, I did not hear anything of the road as the river is making more sound, that is in my dreams a good thing.

Der Zugang zum Wellness im Hotel ist einfach super und es stimmt schlichtweg alles. Ich hatte Urlaub dringend nötig und obwohl es nur 3 Tage waren, zehre ich Wochen später immer noch von der Kraft, die ich im Luxegg tanken konnte! Herzlichen Dank an Familie Zimmerhofer! Ihr seid spitzenklasse!!!
