Very nice hotel
Reviewed By andjesnic23Had a lovely experience staying here as an international traveller. My son was and daughter in law had their wedding ceremony here. Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Very clean and maid service was daily. Other services were excellent and reasonably priced, such as laundry, room bar, etc. Restaurants and buffet style breakfast was outstanding. Facilities are excellent for gym and swimming pool. Use of bathrobes and slippers. I must say the food for the ceremony was outstanding and catering for 200 or more guests. Thank you for a memorable occasion and stay.

Getting bit tired
Reviewed By NickMurphyI have stayed at this hotel a number of times since 1999 and was really impressed after the renovations I reported on in my 2009 visit. It seems though, that not a lot of carpet cleaning has gone on since my last review!! My room, 1204, had what looked like a large blood stain on the floor ( I later decided it was coffee or food). But whatever it was, why not just clean it?!! Actually, cleaning of surfaces doesn't seem to be high on the agenda at all. The shopping arcade contains several shops (closed) with now dusty ornaments and clothes. And the breakfast room tables don't get cleaned between each customer although a number of staff stand about (staring at one if you happen to be caucasian). The positives are that there are still a number of different types of rooms you can book - from executive suites with sitting rooms and card tables (true!) through to functional standard bedrooms. Some English is spoken and the Chinese buffet breakfast is good. Its central and functional.

Reviewed By 海螺号手去年我去淮北访友，因为喝多了，朋友就给安排住了淮北凌云宾馆。当时朋友想给安排住在装修较新的北楼，可当天住宿的挺多，北楼没房了，只好住西楼。进房后只感觉房内的装修有点陈旧，我仔细检查了床单被罩，都是洗涤干净的，房里用的是水暖气，比空调舒适多了，没那么干，夜里还很安静，院里的停车位也很多。总体印象还不错。

OK hotel but Mosquitoes made stay unpleasant
Reviewed By OzMLI stayed here for 2 nights while on business recently. The hotel is generally well presented, but everything is starting to show signs of age and wear. If non-Chinese speaking, you will need a translator in order to check in, check out and interact with the staff. The hotel is conveniently located, close to lots of restaurants. High speed wi-fi was fitted in each room which worked well, and my room had an office desk which I used. Welcome fruit was provided in the room each day (2 apples). While the windows in the room were double glazed, there were some big gaps around the edges which let both lots of road noise noise and lots of mosquitoes in through the gaps. This meant made for poor sleep. The bed itself was comfortable. The hotel only takes Cash or UnionPay card (not international credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex). A Chinese buffet breakfast was included in my rate. Because of the noise and mosquito issue, which also affected my colleagues in different rooms, I would chose to try a different hotel next time in Huaibei. This issue is what led to the hotel receiving the rating I have given it.
