Reviewed By ryano620This bed-and-breakfast was by far the nicest accommodation of all our stops in Italy. Clean, updated furnishings and comfortable beds, along with a traditional Italian flare. Not many people on Fondi speak English, and that’s ok. It’s a beautiful hidden secret with a vibrant town square set in the hills of Lazio. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience, outside of the hills of Italy, make your way to Fondi, enjoy the cobblestone streets, amazing food and beverage and Italian hospitality by staying at this amazing bed and breakfast located in a quiet, safe are within a few minute walk of great restaurants and shops. As a side note, our innkeeper went the extra mile, inviting us into his fantastic restaurant which sits in the shadow of the Fondi castle, and providing the best meal we’ve had in Italy (and that’s saying something!) but only charging us €80 for 3 local beers, a bottle of local merlot and a couple hand-crafted after-dinner drinks, in addition to 2 amazing pasta dishes and 2 large bacon-wrapped filets with roasted potatoes. Finally, when we found ourselves in a bind unable to get a taxi back to the train station, our innkeeper provided a ride free of charge. We only stayed one night in Fondi, but thanks to the amazing accommodations, unbelievably tasty food and beverage and one-of-a-kind hospitality, this may have been our best night in a vacation that includes stays in the Tuscan countryside, Florence, Rome and Sorrento!

A very warm welcame from the Director and Mr. Valentino. Food excellent I suggest fish and local specialized plate such "gnocchi alla norma which goes well with the local Doc red wine.. The owners and their staff go the extra step to ensure you have a great stay. The small restaurant on property is very good for simple local cuisine and great Pizza on Saturdays!!! We will certainly return.

Struttura, situata nel centro del paese, nuovissima ed arredata con cura fin nei minimi particolari. Le camere sono ampie e confortevoli; pulizia perfetta. La colazione merita una citazione a parte: abbondante ed arricchita da buonissime torte fatte in casa. Un grazie al Sig. Antonio e a sua moglie per la gentilezza e disponibilità dimostrata. In sintesi si tratta di una struttura assolutamente consigliata. ECCEZIONALE !!! 10+

"PURE GOLD"
Reviewed By Roslynne KThis lovely block of B&B rooms is very unique. They are very glitzy and colourfully themed. Our room on the bottom level,was decorated in red and white with love hearts featuring everywhere. There was also the blue attic studio room,yellow room etc. Our spacious room was well-appointed with a fridge,TV,airconditioner,couch,table and chairs,and a large comfortable bed. The ensuite was also very good. There is secure parking inside and fast internet. The owner gives you vouchers for a nearby cafe for breakfast. The accomodation is at the end of Fondi,but you are still within walking distance of the historic town and all the excellent shops,restaurants and cafes. This lively town,halfway between Rome and Naples,is well worth a visit.

The room that we stayed in had a canopy bed, overall the whole room looked amazing and very romantic! Everything was clean! We had a little terrase with e view to the little tables downstairs, where we had breakfast. The boy who accomodated us was very helpful with all the different questions that we had :) And he made us a very tasty breakfast (my boyfriend still dreams about the sandwitches that he had). If we go back to that part of Italy we will stay in this hotel again!

A farmhouse where the vision of relaxation and the philosophy of a kitchen with products from their own farm merge. The extreme attention to every detail is a dream made and managed by our family.

Reviewed By Wilfried WThis agriturismo, on a working farm, is located on a hilltop, therefor rather far away from everything after a long and narrow road winding to the top. Once up there you arrive in an elegant, well-kept resort of just a handful of bungalows, a nice swimming pool and a main farm building which houses the restaurant, the reception and the business centre. You are on a hill top so the view 360 degrees around is breath taking, all the way to the sea! The actual farm is on another hill across a small valley so there is no smell at all, you just here the animals from time to time. The relais is run by the family: Pina and Corrado started it and named it after their kids Sarah and Andrea. Both now help run the organisation and are fluent in English. The large rooms are grouped in a few low-slung buildings, with all possible comfort. Large beds of good quality, air conditioning, flat screen TV, a sofa and a desk, all good quality. Some rooms have a private patio with sunbeds. The restaurant is located on the west side of the refurbished farm building, so you can enjoy the sunset while having dinner on the terrace, weather permitting. The food is simply fantastic. Pina is the chef and she surprised us every time with very tasty and superb looking dishes, mostly with local produce and meat. Apparently other family members like cousins and aunts help in the kitchen and elsewhere. Andrea is a young and ambitious waiter knowledgeable about Italian wines and international beers. Sarah serves breakfast most days and does the reception. The breakfast was first-class with plenty of fresh fruit, sweets, meats and cheese, bread and jams and most interestingly morning zabaglione with fresh eggs from the farm. The grounds are kept spotless and near the pool there is also a large jacuzzi to enjoy privately or with family and friends. It was to me an example of a well-run high class but small boutique resort emphasising quality and refinement. The only two minus point are the difficult cell phone connection (because of the isolated location) and the wi-fi, only in the main building. Apparently, there are plans to get better cell phone service next year. I would also advocate switching off or lowering the outside lighting at night so one can enjoy the stars! We were very happy to have found Saran relais by chance and will try to return soon. Thank you all very much for a very nice stay!
