One good hotel on the road
Reviewed By Carlos LThis hotel is on the federal road to From Cordoba to Orizaba, it is well maintained, the villas have plenty of space, good furniture and the price is fair for a Villa. You can prepare your food there, because those Villas have a big size kitchen. Maybe might disturb you the noise from the road or from the big trucks, actually something that completes the hotel.

Reviewed By Margee NNo old world Mexico charm here, but everything was new, clean, and modern. Very reasonable rate for the night, with enough hot water for 4 of us. Coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and board, safe and of course TV with cable in room. Highly recommend!

INFORMACION ENGAÑOSA / INCORRECT/TRICKY INFORMATION
Reviewed By lightinm2021I was having breakfast with my partner and the waiter asked us for the “breakfast tickets” we gave him the ticket and he came back to the table to notify us we just had one breakfast included not two and that we had to pay for the other breakfast. I told him I will go speak to reception. I told the reception staff that they were giving incorrect information and false marketing. When we arrived the receptionist told us we had breakfast included. Please be very careful with this. They might ruin your breakfast, the waiter came 3 times to the table while we were having coffee and treated us like criminals. I am a criminal lawyer and I don’t let this things happen because it’s not correct neither fair that other customers come and experience the same as us. So be careful, inform yourself first. I told the Manager of Food and Beverages as well as the receptionist I don’t have a problem in paying for the breakfast but that I would leave them a bad review. They apologized and told me it is okay, that they will not charge us for the breakfast, but that is certainly not the problem: the problem is they tricked us and that is simply NOT CORRECT + disturbed us during our meal 3 times. It’s not acceptable to be treated like a criminal in a hotel at 8:00 am when you have a trip ahead of you. The staff were chit-chatting, looking at us and sending people back to the table. This review will help them in being more careful with the information they give to their customers when they arrive and as guests this will help you to get informed. Please record them if necessary when they’re telling you what your stay includes.

Beautiful grounds, nice large rooms but very stingy
Reviewed By Bill EFirst off the rooms, the courtyard are all beautiful. Trees lit at night, music, a nice secure and spotless garage to park in... That's all great. The room when we arrived had a very small bottle of purified water and a bar of soap for the shower. Everything else cost extra. Shampoo? extra. Towels for the pool, extra. An important feature was an air conditioner that actually cooled the room. The trains ran during daylight hours and were not objectionable. Great shower and internet. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

Reviewed By StuartandDeneseThis spotless treat is smack dab in the center of town with easy walking distance to the town square. The hotel is stylish, and so clean it sparkles. The bed was huge and comfortable. Our favorite part was that the chef made Mexican delicacies (gorditas and empanadas) fresh for dinner - mwah! She made those simple ingredients sing!

A place to sleep
Reviewed By mbennettCordoba was just a one night stopover for me en route to Veracruz. I was glad of that, both because there's not much there (other than a pleasant zocalo with a couple of nice cafes) and I would not have wanted to spend more than one night at this hotel. Based on the pictures on their website I expected a decent if characterless modern business hotel. But it is something less than that. It has kind of a creepy, institutional feel. Similar in my experience to hotels I stayed at in Eastern Europe during the Soviet era. The air conditioner in my room functioned well, which was huge, given the oppressive summer heat. But everything else in the room was third rate, and the hot water was inconsistent. The room smelled a bit dank. There was a hot breakfast included in the room rate, but even with that the hotel seemed overpriced for what it was. I think that the Palacio (not a "palace" in any language) gets away with charging what it does because the hotel options in Cordoba are extremely limited. It's a place to sleep, adequate for one night, but other than the a/c and central location it has nothing to recommend it. (There was what looked like a nice hotel in a historic building on the zocalo, but I had not found that in any online listings).

Old but functional, it works, good price

It is an old hotel, probably from the 1980's mostly not renovated, but clean and everything works. Good location if you are looking to avoid downtown. I would definitely come back. Wish I would have tried the restaurant because it looked nice. Huge swimming pool!!

Not easy to get to or from
Reviewed By solo_negroThe staff was very nice but everything else about the hotel was humdrum. There were two single beds in my room. And they were not very comfortable or luxurious. The bathrooms were nice and clean. I tried to visit the restaurant several times but was never able to find it open. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood with no restaurants or other night life attractions. I was very disappointed with my stay there.
