A cosy house on the sea-shore among green palms and the shades of the flowers.The Hotel Punta de l'Est is made up of two communicating villas. It's directly on the beach placed in a quiet and peaceful position.Once you arrive you realise that everything here has a simple but special taste.Every space is well-finished even in the smallest details, from colour to material, from articles to plants nothing is placed at random.

Old hotel, uncomfortable double room even for one person, brief cleaning. The door did not close properly and slammed as the other doors opened. The air conditioner didn't work. The double bed with two very hard and old single mattresses with the wardrobe attached in front, space of action not even a meter. The 3sqm bathroom with a dangerous step. The receptionist, informed before departure that I was accompanied by a disabled person, made the absolutely uncomfortable weekend denying even with a subtle discrimination that I had not said it (calling myself, implicitly, a liar. Before leaving I always make sure that if I spend money I want to be served and treated properly), it has served us in an uncomfortable way and marginalized with a detached and venal manner. Did she deny me to eat outside, perhaps because the disabled person on display in her lousy hotel wasn't a "pretty sight"? The clientele seemed to be long-standing and apparently they prefer to hold on to that. To those passing through, they offer minimal service and a cold welcome. At 6 in the morning I ask for a coffee, they block my calls at the reception despite knowing that I was having difficulty leaving the disabled person alone in the room. Asked to have a front row seat on the beach and not to be a snobbish tourist, but because the disabled walk badly. The lies that have followed one another border on the ridiculous, even arrogating to themselves the right of ownership of that tiny piece of sea. Distances between umbrellas not up to standard. The restaurant stole the cooks from the hospital cafeteria. Meager dishes, insignificant cuisine: overcooked chitarrine in broth of shy lupine vogoline (to eat them it was a treasure hunt), octopus sheets that must have been 10 grams in all, with a chopped parsley (green sauce, bah), penne poor of hard supermarket with two pieces of cuttlefish and one, I mean one, mussel. A fried sole with lemon and a piece of broccoli and cheese flan on the side (my God, what a combination). All for the modest sum of 96 euros. Water paid 3 euros separately and not even a liter.A double room for one night (because in the morning I ran away

Reviewed By Peter HCheap, fine and very friendly! A great Hotel to start your (Motor)bike Tour. The Chef of the Hotel (a passionate Motorbiker) will give you great suggestions for your tour. We used this Hotel as "Basecamp" , left our cars and trailers in the garage and started a great tour down the coast to Calabria. The rooms are clean, the personal is professional and very friendly and the food in the restaurant is delicious!!! We are four guys from Germany and this is no fake! Will post pictures of our tour later

The hotel also has a restaurant which can be eaten with a discount and the food, as well as the breakfast, is nothing spectacular, but does offer some local cuisine.

La proprietaria molto simpatica e gentile, ci ha omaggiato di un regalo di benvenuto e del prosecco. La colazione è provvista di una selezione di dolci e salati. Il voto sarebbe stato un 5 ma per alcuni problemi dovuti alla piattaforma di prenotazioni partner della struttura, ci siamo dovuti sbrigare alcuni malintesi sui voucher. ?

Perfect functional hotel
Reviewed By Robert GI was very happy with my stay at the Hotel Parco Paglia. Very friendly staff, which made the stay a pleasure. The room is functional, but very comfortable with a comfortable (hard) bed and pillows. I was very happy to see the hallway lights went on only when movement was detected so electricity wasn't wasted. Very nice breakfast - similar to other breakfasts in more luxurious hotels in Italy. One side of the hotel looks out at the old city of Chieti on top if the hill - but over a sea of warehouses (this being the industrial area - take a look at the picture). Very easy to get from here to downtown Pescara (About 15 mm in car) of Chieti. Also - very easy to get on the highway to Rome and no problem with parking. I was very happy with the hotel and will definitely stay there the next time in the area.

We have spent two nights there and everything was perfect: the rooms are very wide and confortable, The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The manager was very kind and gave us all the information about the city and the history of the place. Everything was very typical and modern at the same time. We really enjoyed the stay. We really suggest it to Chieti visitors!

Reviewed By amBEL24Located in the vineyards, this castle was completely renovated up to current standards. We stayed in a standard room, everything was very nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, some spots of mold on the wall (the room could get a bit damp after showering), but it was clean and had everything we needed. Great beds. Window had a view over the vineyard. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff, great wines. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was very good and reasonably priced. The pool was great, enough sunbeds and there was a pool bar (but we did not use it). Nice terrace where we drank a glass of wine. Would definetely come back!

Reviewed By NefudWe stayed 2 days in July in Antico Borgo while visiting families and friends. Antico Borgo is located in the most beautiful spot of Chieti in a maze of little old streets with beautiful ancient buildings. Rooms are spacious and comfy, breakfast is superb and staff super kind and attentive. The location is accessible by car and you are provided by the staff with special parking rights in this area of the city which is otherwise not accessible for non residents. Highly recommended when visiting Chieti and Pescara area!
