This old locanda is about 200 years old but all rooms have private bathrooms and a famous old restaurant""ostaria de cavrin""is only 6 km away from the lake and 20 minuts from verona...also 20 minuts to the ski area...and 15 minuts drive to gardaland and all the theme parks

Reviewed By Rose MThe room was clean and quaint and a great place for a good nights sleep. The bed was comfortable. We had the use of a terrace right outside our room where we could watch the breakfast being set up in the 500 year old courtyard. The rooms are in a historical 200 year old building which is being renovated to meet specs of Italian government to stay historical. The breakfast items were plentiful, the “American“ coffee strong and the cappuccino scrumptious. Our dinner there was very good. One must remember that the Italian dinner is a four course meal, so when you order a dish it is considered to be part of the big picture, I.e. portion is small enough to allow for other course... The owner is very informative about sights worth seeing and suggestions of where to go. The place is closed from Jan 6 through March. We highly recommend this place.

Reviewed By Bjorn EA very nice and comfortable hotel in the mountains close to the Garda lake. Renovated and very nice rooms with excellent beds. Great service and a good restaurant next door. The small village is not very close to the highway but worth the detour.

Reviewed By daffystjobThe greatest attributes of this B&B are the hosts, the breakfast and the pool, these are second to none! Gosh, just thinking of the breakfast we had there is making my mouth water, it was just delicious. The "salad cake" was just devine! The hosting is also great, good recommendations and very helpful. The pool was just fab, set in a mature garden with some lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The room as you might have guessed has a golf theme which isn't really our thing but nonetheless didn't bother us, in fact seeing some of the golf memorabilia was quite interesting. The room was a good size with a very nice, large bathroom. The B&B has private secure parking which is fab and brew making facilities in the room. Our room didn't have a private outside area which we were expecting from the wording on the booking but the shared outside area is nice and overlooking the pool.

Reviewed By sjm29Fantastic hotel. They were very friendly and serve great food. The rooms are of a good size and very clean. Violetta works hard to keep the rooms clean. The owners Angelo and Stefania are very nice and friendly and couldnt do enough for me and my family. Overall a lovely family run hotel situated in a beautiful area, close to lake Garda. We will definitely return there one day. Love from The Marchand family! August 8th - 12th 2013

Gli ambienti sono curati in ogni minimo dettaglio e la scelta degli arredi di design rende ogni camera un piccolo gioiello. Cristina è una persona dolcissima e molto disponibile. Ci ha consigliato ristoranti e attrazioni aiutandoci a vivere un weekend indimenticabile. Ottima la pulizia degli ambienti e il comfort generale. Per noi è stata una vera esperienza di lusso. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo! Grazie Cristina, è stato un piacere conoscerti!

We are happy to host our guests in a delightful country home, in an enchanting and quiet place, only 5 km. from Lake Garda. Our independent house that has been recently restored and carefully furnished with: 3 double bedrooms with private bathroom with third and fourth bed.
relaxing holiday in beautiful environment
Reviewed By Sophie Dwe've spend one lovely week in august 2013 in this charming b&b. Standard basic room but very clean and with airconditioning. We had a warm welcome from Edi (and Maurizio), who served every morning a good breakfast. Our children had a great time at the swimming pool and in the garden. It's a very good location to visit a lot of small villages at the Lake Garda or to go for a nice trip in the mountains. In the b&b there's also free wifi. The only thing we've missed was a little safe in the room.
