Reviewed By MmarymommThis hotel is set amongst some very seedy-looking establishments. Everything around there is full of graffiti and businesses are behind security fences. We checked into our small rooms. The bathroom floor tile grout was dirty. We soldiered on and went to the restaurant nearby that was suggested by the proprietor. Although it was supposed to be open when we rang the intercom so they could open the security fence no one came. There was nowhere else to go nearby. We decided that staying for three nights in such a place was not for us and told the proprietor we were leaving. He was very annoyed with us. We were charged for the first night (two rooms) but it was worth it not to have to stay there.

Reviewed By milanlongThe rooms are clean, pleasant and look like they have recently been redone. The owner is nice and helpful. She helped us set up a great tour of the archeological sites. Breakfast was also good. Highly recommend this B&B and Canosa was well worth the visit.

Reviewed By Fabiano MThis is honestly a beautiful B&B. The place is spectacular the rooms are cosy and the place feels homely, and just a few minutes walk away from the historical centre of Canosa! The owners are some of the friendliest I have met and the breakfast was up to scratch. A much recommended stay!

Reviewed By UtravelqueenWe stayed at Cefalicchio for a night on our way from Matera to Fano and absolutely loved it. The old house is beautiful. The rooms are rustic and atmospheric. There is a gorgeous pool. We had an interesting wine tasting and a really good dinner.

Reviewed By Judi MBooked this on line as it looked good. Pulled up in the carpark and it was like going into a Roman villa. Inside it looked like a luxury hotel and the room matched. The complex was set up for weddings. The bar was open but not the restaurant. Breakfast in the morning was in one of the banquet halls. If you ever want a night in a grand luxury villa complex at very modest price stay here for the night. Staff were all great to talk to. Great place.

A beautiful room close to the centre
Reviewed By GPS001Canosa is, I dare to say, quite an ugly town with some amazing archeological artifacts to visit. Casa 28 is a bedroom with bathroom set in the old town of Canosa, midway one of the several stepped streets going up to the castle. It is a beautifully arranged room, with a small bathroom. From the room to the Main Street of Canosa, Corso San Sabino, it is a mere 5 min walk. To reach the room you have to go through some steps of the pedestrians only street, and some further steep steps once you open the apartment door. So if you have heavy luggage and you are not that you g, you need help. My wife and I stayed in the room for 4 nights during a cold period in winter, and the first night it was very cold inside (the AC system was not powerful enough to heat the room). But otherwise, it is a beautiful choice. The linen is of very high quality. There isn’t much space to hang or dispose of your clothes though. In all, a great choice.

Beautiful B&B with Outstanding Hosts
Reviewed By Roberto MThis was our fifth stay with Leonardo,we normally stay in to the other guest house owned by Leonardo in old town. We booked directly with the owner as we can get best the best room available. The appartments are decorated beautifully and have full kitchen facilities and private bathroom. The B&B is very close to a Local restaurant pizzeria and just a short walk from Canosa centre town(10 minutes walk).Leonardo is very helpful with recommendations about top sights to visit and restaurants to eat at. They were also very accommodating to our schedule and allowed us to collect our bags later than our check out to enable us to enjoy our last few hours. Lovely people and a fantastic stay! We will definitely be back next time again we visit Canosa di Puglia.

Reviewed By CidonThe "Tenuta" is a very spacious, well kept and tidy place in the middle of a large farm. The room is large and air conditioned. The bathroom spacious, though the shower a bit small. I used to look forward for the evening meal, with very good appetizers and typical Puglia food. Filomena was always eager to make us feel at home.
