A light and open plan space creating a relaxed atmosphere, specialising in the very best in fresh seasonal produce served without fuss. The lounge offers a large and varied wine, champagne and cocktail list as well as a more informal food menu. And for those who overindulge we have a gym! The hotel has two meeting rooms aptly named after two key industries in the town, The Foundary and The Quays. Seating up to a maximum of 30 delegates in various layouts, these rooms are ideal for business meetings, training event as well as those important special occasions.
The hotel itself is very nice, we loved our room (stayed on 2 separate occasions in may) lovely comfy beds, big modern rooms, lovely shower room. Reception staff v friendly. We stayed on a secret escapes package so got 3 course dinner included. We were really looking forward to the restaurant experience but we were veery disappointed with the food. We asked for medium steaks (got well done) in such a steakhouse grill this was a shock. My husband had the Welsh rarebit. He said it was tasteless and no topping on it. Also the menu choice for such an establishment? Macaroni cheese? Shepherds pie? Not really tempting. Also the paper menus were hard to read? I think the normal menu better. Ideal stop fir Plymouth ferry for us travelling from Scotland

We stayed at the hotel whilst attending a wedding in the church opposite. The room was excellent, very clean, very comfortable bed and amazing shower. We were aware that the hotel was extremely busy but you would not have known from the extremely attentive and helpful staff. There was a delay in receiving our breakfast which we had been made aware as soon as sat down but it was most certainly worth the wait. I would go so far to say the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had!! We would highly recommend this hotel and we have stayed in many.

We were spending a few days in Somerset on a short break from our home on Nottingham. We booked in for a meal on the evening of 1st June and were delighted with what we had found. The restaurant was busy but the staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, the food was good and all in all a very pleasant experience. If we didn't live 150 miles away we would be back there regularly! Many thanks to Maddie and all the staff. Highly recommended.

We visited with a group of three friends making a party of five. You have to order the “two for the price of one” meal deal otherwise the prices are exorbitant . They have overpriced every dish making it very difficult if there is an odd number of guests. This is a unique offer to this Marston Inn it would appear. So be warned. Go as a couple or not at all! The food was good but took an age to arrive even though the pub was quiet. Also they had run out of tartar sauce. Will not be returning.
