Good value for money but don't expect the Ritz
Reviewed By rajblueheartThe chalet is cozy and comfortable but the air conditioning was pretty much blowing out warm air. It wasn't terribly unbearable but definitely quite uncomfortable. There was no potable water bottles provided and I think this basic gesture should be a given. Or at least a heating kettle to boil our own water because you can get quite dehydrated by the beach. Perhaps I can suggest bringing along some mineral water bottles. Anyway, the boat rides to the snorkeling areas was the highlight of the trip and pretty much made up for the AC and water issues. Food was okay and tasty but not buffet style, perhaps due to the new normal SOP? Samudra was very thorough organizing the trip and this should be commended. Overall, a pleasant trip and a great escape from the city to enjoy nature and the sea and the sun and sealife!

Reviewed By KaharATRFirstly, one should understand this is not a hotel, it is more like a homestay/inn sorta. It is definitely without doubt a perfect place to stay especially for those who would prefer to have a relaxing day (or two in my case) prior to any nearby island trip. Host is very flexible in terms of check-in/out time, always responsive especially via Whatsapp. For its class, the amenities provided were superb and commendable, i do not need to list out in specific detail for they have been given a good mention by fellow travellers in here before me. Thank u Ms Ayu, my hats off to u ✌️?

Nice place
Reviewed By angad2102The place is a bit far from the city but is really clean and nice. The owners are fantastic and would help you as much as they can. They can arrange car/tickets etc for you. There are few restaurants nearby and you can take a short cab ride to the nearby beach.

Reviewed By UcuuyanaResort located near to beach,there is swimming pool. Breakfast provided depend on which package you take, I'm staying deluxe room access to the pool. Rooms just okay,others facilities like soap are provided. Behind the hotel there is factory but I don't remember the name. This resort suitable for family.

The hotel has improved

This year's CNY, my friends and I stayed at the triple room and I was so happy to say that the hotel has improved a lot. The room was clean and spacious. I will definitely stay here again as the location is superb.

From Kuala Besut to Perhentian Island (Long Beach)
Reviewed By Navigator422545It's not that far to the jetty. U can book ur boat ride with d Seven Seas which is next door. Cost about Rm70. They also arrange shuttle van to d airport in Kota Bharu, rm25 only. Locals need to pay rm5 for d marine conservation fee & another rm5 for d tax at d jetty.

Good place to stay on your way to the Perhentian islands
Reviewed By miiak169We stayed here for one night. The room was clean and the owners very welcoming. The location is just near The jetty so perfect for getting to Perhentian islands. We hade a big Malesian breakfast made by the owner. Room was noisy so prepare with earplugs. All in all this homestay was very nice and we would definitely recomment it!

Just a basic place to stay before going to Perhentian Islands
Reviewed By lamissyThis is a place to just sleep before taking an early ferry up to the Perhentian's. I got a free shuttle service to the jetty early morning. I got to the hotel very late because my flight left with a big delay from Penang, so when I got there I could only buy a bottle of water from the reception as there are no options for restaurants, etc so make sure you bring some food with you if you are getting late to the hotel. Bathroom was very old...television wouldnt work, aircon was fine and there was a mosquito plug in the room.
