Reviewed By GerbinhoPowerMy wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in October, it was in the off season so the kitchen, beach bar (which looks like a great place to hang out in the summer), pool bar and jacuzzi were all closed. We had been been wrongly told that kitchen would be open so were annoyed to find it closed but George admitted his error and paid for taxis to Batsi for us each evening. Blue Bay Village is about a 20 minute very scenic walk from Batsi (€5 in a taxi) and has excellent sea views. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and had a lovely sea view from our balcony. The breakfast was good and there was a large selection to choose from. George and his family/staff were very helpful and friendly. The beach and beach bar are a few minutes walk down the steps. This would be an excellent place to stay during the summer

Blue Dolphin's rooms combine unique sea view & relaxing environment. In the magnificent garden you can enjoy your drink, sea view & sun (the view is one of the best in Batsi). All rooms, sited in the 1st floor, are comfortable, have their own bathroom, hot water, telephone, TV, wireless internet, hair dryer, safe boxes, a/c (cold & hot) & mini bar. The hospitality we offer is the warm feeling of “home and family” environment combined with good organisation. The seashore and the beach of Batsi is only 150-200 m away. BLUE DOLPHIN is open from April until early December. (and occasionally for some days during February & March).
Absolutely the best in Batsi
Reviewed By RosaSwitzerlandI stayed here for a week at the end of August. The Blue Dolphin overlooks Batsi and has probably the best view available of the town and harbour. Both can be reached on foot by walking down some steps and along the seafront for about 10 - 15 minutes, and there's a lovely small beach (the Kolonna) five minutes in the opposite direction. Much nicer than the big one in town. The terraced garden of the Blue Dolphin is absolutely beautiful, and a lovely place to sit and read or have breakfast (which you can also take on your balcony if you prefer). Our twin-bedded room was perfect - comfortable, bright, and with a good, powerful shower. There's also a kitchen where you collect your breakfast in the morning and can make tea or coffee at any time you like. The Blue Dolphin's greatest asset is its owner, Christos. He's friendly, helpful, kind, and permanently cheerful. He gave us a lift round to Gavrio when we were leaving, and when I realised that I'd left my jacket behind in the garden, he returned to Batsi, collected it, and brought it over before the ferry left. That's what I call going the extra mile. Oh, and to top it all, the Blue Dolphin is very good value. I'd recommend it to everyone!

Reviewed By SuziJ_12_28I arrived into Batsi on a sailing boat with friends, however my husband had been feeling seasick so we wanted a night on dry land! I did a quick google search and thought Villa Nefeli looked nice for a reasonable price. Because it was last minute, I walked to find it and found a phone number - I booked directly with a very nice, friendly lady. The room was clean, comfortable, had a beautiful view and we were very grateful of the air conditioning! Overall, we could not have been happier with this beautifully located accommodation. Thank you so much!!!

Reviewed By nejmh1981i was in amorani studios ,the studious are beatifull and have amazing balcony with sea view ,they have good cleaning room service ,the staff is sweat and helpfull,very nice atmosphere its worthevery euro u paid for them . Near u have organic shops with organik fruits and vegetables with local hanmade cheese .i enjoy so much in this place .the wonderfull of this place is the hosptality of the staff and the owner ..i enjoy every moment in this place ..come again next year ?

Reviewed By BabakasssAmazing stay. The staff was amazing, especially Julia, Dimitris and Sofia. The overall experience was really quirky and I'd definitely go again. The location was fabulous and the hotel was pet-friendly as the owners had two dogs, Hara amd Elmo.

Wunderbares Grichenland
Reviewed By Urs KIch war das erste mal in Grichenland und mein Sohn hat für uns diese super schönen Stein Häuschen gebucht. Wir wurden am Hafen Empfangen das Mietauto wurde auch von der Vermieterin Organisiert und so konnten wir direkt zu den Häuschen auf dem Hügel fahren. Schnell war alles nötige geklärt worden und unsere Ferien konnten beginnen. Andros ist Traumhaft schön und die Lage der Häuser super. Von den Häusern aus kannst du Direkt in die Hügel auf Wanderwegen (alte Eselpfade ) in alle Richtungen Wandern gehen. Die Vermieterin ist in allen Bereichen weiter zu Empfehlen.

Reviewed By Daniel LIf you are looking for your lost family and memories about your childhood in the country, if you never know the warm welcome and care of your grandparents, so you have to came and spend your holidays here, to meet Adonis and Koula. It's in a quiet area with a nice view, a good comfortable and extraclean studio plus a lovely garden. Nearby you'll find a big AlfaVita supermarket (the greek AB it'sa belgian Delhaize's subsidiary) with a bus station in front, also an other one local small greek market, which is open even the saturday evening and sunday morning when the biggest it's closed. Adonis will help you with all the informations about Batsi and Andros Islands and, if you need, will came on the Gavrio's harbor to pick you and your luggage with his van. Take care, the bus station in front of the AB market is going only to Gavrio harbor. If you want to take the bus going to the Andros city, you have to go the marina's bus station. The distance to the beach it's roughly 700m, but it's an ocasion to move your bones and to have a nice walk across to the Batsi village. You have 2 ways, the direct one to the beach or the other one, going to the marina and the middle of the village. A nice and clean Blue Flag beach and a pretty marina with shops and tavernas are waiting you in Batsi. Try the Cavo d'Óro and Delfini for the best places to eat; you will find also the Dodoni's greek icecream maker, a chemist, a butcher, a travel office and few souvenir shops with handmade products, honey, wine, olive oil. Don't forget to visit the capital of the island, a very west-european 19th century style, remembering the old greek aristocratic families, when shipping and trade was the fortunes of this island.

Reviewed By thebrayfamily_1The location is spectacular right by a beautiful family friendly gently sloping beach. Within 10 minutes walk there are some of the nicest restaurants I have eaten in. The rooms are modern, clean and have stunning views. The staff are amazing so helpful. The reception area for breakfast is really nice as was breakfast.

Reviewed By Christraveller9It was a great stay! We stayed at various hotels around Greece but this one stole our heart. Why? Because of its delicious breakfast. Last but not least, the beach under the hotel is probably the best in the island!!!
