unique, tranquil, beautiful, no english, wish I stayed longer
Reviewed By bethocoMy husband and I stopped here for one night on our way to Khao Sak National Park, but we wish we would have stayed longer. The landscape was incredible. I wish we could have stayed another few days to sit in our hammock on the porch, walk the beatiful trails and explore more! There are vegetables and flowers and many different plants growing on the property. There were only two things people may find undesirable, which we found to be charming. The staff when we arrived did not speak English at all and we used some hand motions to communicate. Although the next morning there was a staff member who spoke with us in English to clear some things up! The second thing is that the food options are very simple/limited. I highly recommend this place!! Would stay here in a heartbeat if we ever go back to Thailand!

Very peaceful
Reviewed By 904carolA quick easy drive to the dam. Beautiful mountain views from the room.Staff were incredibly helpful . Breakfast was reasonable with limited choices. Restaurant for evening meal was well priced and the food outstanding along with the service.Room was large, clean and modern. The only negative thing would be that the room terrace furniture was trendy but tiny and uncomfortable to sit and relax on . If there had been a longer it would have been perfect as the view is so relaxing and the area so peaceful .We would definitely stay again as good value for money and great location.

Reviewed By carlosmbcnThe staff is very friendly and help all you ask. You really feel in the middle of the jungle. The dam is so near for make activities next morning. The rooms in front of the river are amazing. Just close all windows and doors during the night for the mosquitos.

Reviewed By 428benjaminsSuper nice and highly recommend this raft house. The staff is super kind and helpful, they really made our trip (14 people) absolutely memorable. The food was great, super tasty and they kept on coming back to offer us more with no extra charges. The only thing they could improve around the food is breakfast, maybe have a buffet instead with different options like fried rice, egg station, pancakes, Thai food, cereals and let people serve themselves. We had access to rubber rings to lounge in the lake, plenty of choices of drinks and snacks available as well. A really nice setting overall! The rooms were a bit small and might need a tiny bit of maintenance, maybe would be nice to add curtains on the windows but otherwise OK. A must Go!

Reviewed By ph3amhatyaiokI stay here for 1 night before go to ChaewLan Dam. Location quite good but quite difficult to find. In the morning, I have to woke up at 6 o'clocl cause of Power lines were blown down. For me I think here it's a good hotel for stay. Becareful of insects

Reviewed By Heidi_and_EwenUnfortunately we only stayed for one night. Had we known what a charming place we would arrive at, we would certainly have planned more days there. Our bungalow was very nicely set out and spotlessly clean. The grounds were very pretty; the pool looked so inviting. (Unfortunately it rained on the days we were there so I wasn’t able to make the most of this). Service was absolutely outstanding. We loved the couple who ran it, and their lovely cleaner. Really thoughtful, friendly, helpful and kind people, but never overbearing. Breakfast was very pleasant; the coffee was especially delicious. Thank you for the lovely stay, we shall definitely return some day!

Reviewed By Isabell RDas Haus ist leider sehr runtergekommen und unverschämt teuer,leider haben wir 3 Nächte gebucht.Matratzen verdienen den Namen nicht.strom oder warmes Wasser, gibt's auch nicht.die Zimmer wurden nie gemacht den Mülleimer habe wir selbst geleert.das essen war aber Mega gut und die Aussicht traumhaft. Man ist 3 Tage von der Außenwelt abgeschnitten und kann in sich gehen,zählt aber 266 Euro die Nacht Ausfluge muss man auch bezahlen

Reviewed By Alber84Elegimos ese hotel porque al día siguiente ibamos a Kao Shok a las casas flotantes del lago y estaba al lado de la Oficina de recogida. Es un poco desorganizado, no sabes donde está la recepción, ni nada. Nos dieron un apartamento enfrente a la piscina, construido de maderas que se oye todo. Por la noche tenían fiesta cantando y al día siguiente habían niños en la piscina desde las 6 de la mañana. La piscina estaba verde y el apartamento tenía bichos, hormigas, mosquitos... No recomendable, aunque no hay muchas opciones en Ban Ta Khun. Caro para lo que ofrecen.
