Reviewed By GoncaStyleWe received this recommendation from the rental office and where so very much surprised by the beautiful simplicity and clean decor of this place! Everything is kept in a crispy white and grey decor and the bed was very comfortable! The location is just a few steps to town and don’t miss the pizza place at the end of the street! Anna was a lovely host and her home made cake for breakfast was incredible!!! Definitely one of the best places to stay on the island! We got lucky!!!

Reviewed By 593kristinagWhat I liked : The staff are brilliant and were quick in responding to all my emails before I arrived , helping me plan my time on the island. Really helpful. The hotel is in a great location with walking distance to most restaurants / cafes/ the port. The rooms are clean and relatively modern with everything you need and the hotel itself has lots of outdoor space and nice design elements. The shampoo/ shower gel is of good quality. What needs changing : The bedsheets and towels feel like cardboard !! So hard and rough and unpleasant. I didn’t sleep all night because of it and getting out of the shower certainly wasn’t a pleasant experience. These are details that guests notice and I highly recommend paying attention to this. The infrastructure isn’t great so I had to wear earplugs at night to stop hearing the noise outside and the noise coming from the rooms next to me. Overall - would recommend, but would love to see these small changes made to make the hotel even nicer than it already is.

simple and elegant in the center of Favignana
Reviewed By galloreWe visited Favignana at the beginning of August. I had alredy been there nearly 40 years ago and a great memory, which found a new confirmation. The island is beautuful but what made our stay even better was the hotel Aegusa. Simple and elegant is the best and shortest description which finds a great complement in the quality of the restaurant with its excellent food. My compliments to the owners! Highly recommended!

Il Giardino delle Aloe - A very nice surprise during Peak Season
Reviewed By Philip_GostelowMy wife and I spent 3 very enjoyable days and nights at Il Giardino delle Aloe. It was late August 2017, peak season for Italians as they leave the north and head south for their summer vacations. We stayed in a regular room with west-facing covered patio and a view toward the hilltop monastery. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed relaxed breakfasts, and after cycling to the island's grottos would inevitably return late afternoon for aperitivo and dinner at Aloe's al fresco restaurant. The wines, salads and tuna steak with pistachio all great. More than the food, it was the atmosphere at night that pulled you in - relaxed and engaging dining. The manageress was always warm and courteous, and the staff particularly warm and friendly. We felt like part of the family. I would have been happy to stay longer had we not pre-booked another more upmarket accommodation (Il Baglio sull'Acqua - ridiculously overpriced, poor and impersonal service from management, and added prices for every little service that should have been free!) on the island. At Aloe it seemed nothing was too much trouble for the staff to help satisfy our needs. For the price and service I would heartily recommend Il Giardino delle Aloe to any traveller - single, couple or family group. Their lush garden a rarity on Favignana. I hope to return soon!

Average camping spot but too expensive
Reviewed By Margherita SThe camping is okay, nothing special. But too expensive. We stayed in the wooden houses (chalet) and they weren't worthy 80 euros per night. You pay for the hot shower, renting a scooter or a bike was too expensive. The bathroom was most of the time dirty. We wouldn't sleep here again, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great breakfast and great staff
Reviewed By GMB95The breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed it so much. We were looking for it every morning because they changed the sweets and the savories every day. They were all home-made. The breakfast staff were very friendly and we also enjoyed chatting with them. Very enjoyable. The room and the bathroom were small but clean. The room had access to the garden. The bed and the pillows were not too bad. We could sleep quite well. There is no safety box, coffee maker neither kettle in the room. The toilet seat was incredibly high so that I couldn't reach the feet on the floor. The room was next to the reception and we could hear the all voices from there. It was very noisy. Particularly in the bathroom. The hairdryer in the bathroom was very small and not powerful at all . The staff in the reception were very helpful and friendly. They gave us lots of useful information. Their information made our stay much more enjoyable. We really appreciate it. There is a restaurant called ''Cavallo'' near the hotel. 5 minutes walking. It was one of the best restaurants on the island.

Amazing location, perfects hosts
Reviewed By paolovbossiThe place is highly recommended. It is just outside the village (2-3 minutes by bike), far enough to be in peace with a great silence in the night. The place it's a perfect combination of rurality and of confort. The apartments have air conditioning, TV and everything needed. The common space is great. Our kids loved the hammocks and there is a space for BBQ. THe hosts are more than great. Always ready to help, to suggest...they are just perfect. I cannot immagine a better place where to stay in Favignana.
