Last but not least, if you have to catch a flight in Bergamo – Orio al Serio airport, you can either take the public transport or a private airport shuttle with special rates, available upon request.

Don’t have too much to say on this place apart from, only stay here if you are getting an early / late flight from Bergamo airport… if even that ! The location of this hostel is extremely far out of everything. It is doable to walk to the main attractions but with bags etc no a hope. Despite the location, the hostel is well equipped. The staff here are extremely nice and welcoming and the main floor / common area that holds few comfy seats and the breakfast area. I was on the second floor, in a 6 bed mixed dorm. A very basic dorm indeed yet it did have an en suite. I did get a single bed to myself but overall it was more a place to lay your head and head off early / late. The lockers are very tight and most are broken ( for locking purposes ) The breakfast is surprisingly very good for Italy lots of selections! There is also a rooftop terrace which is pretty nice on a sunny morning. Kitchen is equipped fairly basically but would do well for cooking up some good grub. However do note a lot of people staying here are just there for the night so expect an early awaking for people leaving to catch flights etc. There isn’t much social if any here. A DJ plays some nights but unless a crowd is here it is very sad.. Would only recommend for those catching a flight / arriving in late. Or if you do not mind a hostel 40mins out of the city then definitely check it.

The one girl at the desk was so rude and had a very unpleasant demeanor as if guests should be grateful for having their hostel whereas the hostel should be grateful they still have business. It is expensive for nothing. No breakfast and blames it on Covid, No kitchen facility to cook. The dormitory room, beds are too close to each other and all available for other guests not practicing social distancing. I have slept in hostels where every other bed is marked off as unavailable to practice COVID safety. Most hostels I sleep in, they aim to please and are always friendly or at minimum, pleasant in welcoming a guest but not here. The main advantage of this hostel is it is close to the cafes and restaurants, shops. However, the fact that it is very close to the train station, it also attracts some strange people, like the one in my room who screamed off and on during the night. I thought he was dreaming but when he woke up in the morning, he started to talk and point at me. It was very frigthening actually. Except for one African young man who seemed normal, it was only because of him, I felt a bit more calm. The hostel has only one dormitory room and the rest are private rooms. I would not stay here again. I also woke up with 2 bites on my face. I dont think they are from mosquitoes because usually I hear them at night and cover myself. Possibly bed bugs...

Reviewed By traveller_SchmidtI was so surprised that they did not have an online booking service but when I called they reserved my room on phone and sent me a confirmation immediately. When I reached, I got a beautiful private room overlooking the valley and the mountain range. The toilette is modern, running hot water and with bidet. The room has christmas print blankets and two big windows to enjoy the sunrise from bed. The staffs were very helpful to provide necessary maps and recommendations for food and places around. Some spoke broken English but their effort was heartfelt. The hotel also has nice gelateria and restaurant at the ground floor. Only turn off was the wifi was not connecting although we were given a code. Signal in valbondione is very low and if your wifi is not working at hotel, certainly no netflix no chill

Reviewed By ElisStarsI'm a single traveller and I've been to this hostel a couple of weeks ago for 4 days. The owners are nice and always available and the hostel is great. The rooms are tidy aend the beds are really nice made by wood and comfortable. Schilpario is a wee paradise full of green and fresh. You can climb, walk and enjoy the nature in the summer and ski and ice skate in the winter. Highly recommended !

In inverno è possibile sfruttare gli impianti di Lizzola a Valbondione, le piste del Monte Pora e degli Spiazzi di Gromo. Il fiume Serio, a 5 min dall'ostello, a tratti forma delle piscine naturali ed è costeggiato da una ciclovia che da Bergamo sale fino a Clusone, immancabile meta per una passeggiata. La val Vertova con le sue cascate è a 15min ed il lago d'Iseo a 30min di auto. Numerosi i trekking e i percorsi in MTB tra boschi e passi.

Reviewed By Shaun_Jack91Really nice B&B only 10 minutes’ walk from the station. The room was quite comfortable, though the bed was a bit hard in my opinion, and good value for money. Our host was very friendly and the breakfast was good and offered a lot of choices.

Antico albergo termale ottocentesco oggi completamente recuperato con un sapiente lavoro di restauro, il Residence delle Tre Corone offre un’ospitalità sobria ed elegante a prezzi competitivi e in un contesto giovane e accogliente, nel cuore della Valcavallina. Il suo passato ricco di storia permette all’Ospite di calarsi in un’atmosfera suggestiva, caratterizzata da stretti passaggi, muri spessi, pavimenti in cotto antico e da antichi poggioli in pietra serena che permettono di godere della splendida vista panoramica sul paesaggio collinare circostante.

Reviewed By Victor AThis hostel offers very tidy rooms. Nice location with magnificient scenery! Free parking, free wifi. Building is new, furniture is new. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is not continental, quite poor, but it is italy. One should not expect much, as italians don't eat a lot on the breakfast. There is a very nice backery close to the hostel and you can always sit in the garden and have your breakfast there. Next time when I visit northern Italy I will definitely stay in this hostel!!!
