Reviewed By CrimsonKookaburraStayed here in a private room for a few days - was upgraded upon check in to a room with an ensuite. The room was very clean and had no complaints. A basic breakfast is free, which as of my stay, was : frosted flakes + milk, white bread + jam + margarine, instant ramen, coffee + tea. Also bring some indoor slippers or flip flips unless you want to use the communal slippers.

Reviewed By ZM874Room is nice and clean. Location is close to public transport and local attractions. only some of the staff speaks English. Parking is available as well. The common area has pool table and can be used as a restaurant but I'm not sure if is it active.

The friendly couple was also backpacker vegabonds on the globe. So, they are well aware of travelers' needs for comfort and convenience. You will enjoy a relaxing rest at this picturesque, cozy location but with the sound of waves and the whisper of wind, while appreciating superb views through windows of the house, all of which might be picture frames. You can gaze at the lights of fishing boats from the balcony in the night. Please roam along the shore on Olle trail route or even find yourself picking up seashells tucked between rocks. Reviewed By the_blue_panda_123We went to visit this guest house for the evening to join in Sue's (the owner) handicraft activity. She was a kind and friendly host who speaks very good English and helped my wife make a Jeju horse. The activity takes around 2 hours and is very fairly priced. Sue provides all the materials and teaches you how to make the horse. It is a lovely souvenir in a very nice setting, overlooking the sea. We took public transport to get there, which was relatively easy and involves a 10 min walk from the bus stop. For more details, I recommend contacting Sue via her guest house website.

Reviewed By Lao_BxlOur stay was perfect: the place is clean and tidy, beautifully decorated. Your room will have everything you need. The breakfast is very good you can chose between western or korean food. Perfectly situated, there are many buses close by to travel the island easily, you'll find many shops and the busy area is just a few minutes walking. Kay was lovely at the reception, she will give you any information you need, in English, Korean, and even maybe French or Japanese.

Would definitely recommend this guesthouse and area to stay in is perfect and can walk to atleast 3 waterfalls from here, bus stop is also close by! Thanks for having us!

OK, but not great
Reviewed By xxileo88First of all, the staff doesn't respond to emails and cannot be reached by phone. So when I was lost in Jeju, I spent an hour of walking and eventually get a cab because I couldn't reach the hostel to ask for directions. When I got there, I was assigned to the 4th floor only to learn that the building doesn't have a lift. I had to carry and drag my luggage through the stairs. The only consolation was how comfortable the bed was. Otherwise, I would have been truly disappointed. Also, if you get to know your route, the Seogwipo square and bus stops are very near the hostel.

Reviewed By 준구 윤제주 올레4코스의 표선해안가 마을에 있는 게스트하우스로 주인장이 4년(?)전에 육지에서 올레길 왔다가 제주도가 너무 좋아 눌러앉았다고 합니다. 주인장이 게스트하우스 시설 관리를 잘해서 너무 깨끗했으며, 제주의 다른 게스트하우스에서 토스트로 대충 조식을 제공하는 것과는 다르게 단출하지만 정성담긴 집밥을 제공했습니다. 그리고 집 뒤에 안주인께서 예쁘게 가꾼 꽃밭(?)과 텃밭이 있으니 꼭 구경해보세요.

The U&I guest House is located in the middle of downtown and it takes 10mins from Jeju International airport by bus #500. U&I guest-house will provide U with safety, comfort, and real fun. It is close to Jeju City Hall.We are in the center of Jeju City and close to City Hall. You can get off from the bus stop at Jeju City Hall. From there, go behind Baskin Robbins. You will see a narrow street. Go straight and U & I Guesthouse will be to your right. Surrounding our areas are bars and restaurants you can enjoy.Things to Note:No smoking in indoors.(you can smoke at the 3rd,5th terrace)Drinking allowed until 12pm at the multi-purpose lounge(B1).No food no alcohol inside room. Reviewed By PatrickC239If I want to stay in Jeju City, You and I is at the top of my list. Excellent staff and owner, clean rooms and dorms, complimentary breakfast, water and towel. You will feel totally comfortable to ask for help and suggestions. The prices are very reasonable and the basement space is somewhere you can mingle with other guests or watch the big TV.

Great location, good parking and breakfast
Reviewed By BayjbMy review is really more of a 3.5 star review but I rounded up because the hostel provided the number one thing I needed: parking. I was in the female dorm and the rooms are well sized, beds comfortable and good locker storage. Bathroom is clean and modern too. Kitchen is available on-site and filtered water too. Breakfast is 4000 Won and a buffet style, overall pretty good and a good value if you really stuff yourself. There are lots of local restaurants around the hostel and you can walk easily to the market. English speaking staff is hit or miss. Most to all signage is in Korean re: restaurant recommendations so that was a little frustrating. The staff was really nice but it was hard to communicate at times. Overall, I would recommend it and probably stay again. But if you are a non-Korean speaker be aware of some of the language limitations.
