De ahi se conecta el centro historico hacia un lado y todas las playas hacia el otro. Esta en el centro de todo! A menos de 10 minutos a pie de la playa, asi como del centro historico.

Reviewed By camilamU9472SIThere was the best experience that I have had staying in hostels. the room was always cleaning, the staff were so receptive and help me a lot, the localization was the best on Itacaré near to the beaches and many bars and restaurants, and the best thing of all were the hosts. everyone was so welcoming and together we've gone to many events, beaches and restaurants and everyone helped and cared each other!

Reviewed By Diane2016I spent 10 days at Albergue do Farol. A very good place! Clean, cute, in a good spot (not to busy but still central). You soon feel at home as ALL the staff is so nice, simple and helpful. It was over my expectations for the price. Also a very good place to relate with others travelors, which is important if you travel alone, as I do. They care so much that it is important to me to give them a good rating (first time I do that, usually I skip it!).

Reviewed By Tristan BWe will chose Buddy's Hostel again and again and again if we were to come back to Itacaré! This place and its owner, Pedro, just fit marvellously with the town and its atmosphere ?? He provided us precious advices on the beaches, trails and local venues. He's also a great host that likes to share with others... Included breakfast is really worth it. Rooms and beds are okay, though be aware that you can only enjoy a fan, not a air conditioning. This wasn't a problem to us. Surf rental is not possible, but 30 meters away starts the street where you can find pretty much every thing. Maaaany thanks Pedro, see you around and please reach out if ever coming to France ;)

Fine for the night
Reviewed By T805IEsarahaTotally fine when you just need a place to sleep. Only one girl of the staff can speak proper English, if you speak Spanish it’s fine though. Kitchen is clean but the fridge is full of old groceries which is pretty disgusting. It gets pretty hot in the rooms. You will get a fan but there is no A/C. No special nationalities in the hostel. You’ll find people from Chile, Brazil, Sweden, UK and Belgium. No Germans around (I liked that since I’m from Germany haha). The garden is nice and the chill out zone with hammocks is super cozy. unfortunately no fun activities have been offered and also no tours etc. And even worse: they don’t have a bar! U just can buy water and coke at the reception. Oh and they have cats and dogs there, so be careful if you are allergic or afraid of animals... Get a room with sea view - it’s worth the money!

The Mais Que Nada is a relaxed, groovy and unique place to stay. Our three houses have lots of open space, common areas. living rooms and colourful patios that are comfortable and protected from tropical rainstorms. A great place for a zoom meeting in the early afternoon, and in the evening our bar and restaurant, where we serve great cocktails & tasty dishes, are also open to the public. Get a a sunset massage on our deck with sea views. Our breakfast is delicious and there is no pressure. We are really well located, close to everything and we will keep you posted on whatever is going on in town. Don't think twice. Come and stay!
Best hostel in itacare without a doubt!
Reviewed By ParfyyEverything thing about the hostel is amazing, starting with the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, especially Sandy who goes out of her way to make sure you know everything about the surroundings and things to do whilst you are there. The food is also amazing! Best breakfast from a hostel after travelling for 6 months. I would definitely recommend even if you are not staying at the hostel. I didn’t get to true the restaurant for dinner but have heard from multiple guests it’s just as good as the breakfast! Would recommend 100 times over to anyone visiting itacare.

WORST HOSTEL IN MY LIFE! (new owners since end of 2017)
Reviewed By Amanda SThe WORST hostel I have ever been to!!! The place is super dirty and dark, there is no area where you wanna stay at this place. When we arrived there was one person sleeping on an extra mattress on the floor, the bed was like a hammock and the pillow was literally a square box. There is no hot water in the shower and the fan didn’t work so I woke up every night sweating. We also woke every night of a couple having sex in the bunk bed next to me and the last night one of them was so high that she snuggled down next to me in my bed completely naked (I know this is crazy hahaha). The lockers were broken so nowhere to put my values. Before I read the reviews about the good breakfast but it’s really disgusting with dirty table, plates and flies everywhere. You got bread with tomatoes, because they run out of butter and cheese... Also the place run out of water so nowhere to shower or go to the bathroom, no refund for this. I paid BRL 95 per night which is crazy expensive for this place! Even though we paid for the whole stay we left earlier because it was too disgusting! We tried to get some refund but the owner shake their head and said "I don't speak English". They have new owners since the end of 2017 so do not trust the old reviews!

Reviewed By fabitomanwas suppose to spend one night there and ended up two months! very relax and special charm... the staff are super friendly, help in any question and problem we had. its 1 minute walk from praia da concha and 3 minutes from the main street but still very quiet and calm... a lot of green and trees, the birds are singing every morning... you can eat there a very tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner (vegetarian) and to do a yoga sessions with the owner ( amaster in yoga ashtanga) and a massages. the people who come to this pousada are very nice too, we were making singing nights and meditations almost every night... i for sure gonna come back to this pousada
