My mum and I booked the canter ride for 15th July. My mum hasn't ridden for a while so I asked if it would be possible to walk and trot and only canter if my mum felt comfortable enough once on the ride. Sally was really helpful when booking over email and assured as it would be fine and it would only be my mum and me on the ride so we could do whatever she felt comfortable with. Sally picked us up from our hotel in Gouvia at no extra cost and dropped us back. The ride was about 2 hours through the countryside and a small village where we stopped for photos and fly spray for the horses. I was riding Katie and my mum Ria, both were perfect and suited our abilities. My mum felt really comfortable after a while of walking and trotting so we did have some great canters on the way back. An absolutely great experience, the horses, staff and countryside were all beautiful and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to go horse riding on holiday. All riding equipment including boots and chaps were provided and the horses are really well cared for. Thank you Sally and the team for a fantastic experience. We will be back next time we are in Corfu. Please give Katie and Ria an extra carrot from us :) Suzie and Dawn

We had the most amazing time on our sunrise tour at Kokou riding. The centre has a great vibe and the owners and workers/volunteers are all very friendly and passionate about all the horses. We were matched perfectly with a horse suitable for our riding ability and confidence. The sunrise tour was magical, very worth the early start. We started with a walk towards the beach, with a few opportunities to trot and canter if you wished. The swimming was incredible! the horses are really brave and it was so so fun! we did races in the water and they made it really enjoyable and a memorable experience. You then travel through countryside and along the coastline, enjoying beautiful scenery. We finished with a gallop across the field back to the centre which was a perfect end to the trip. We then stayed a while to pet and feed the horses which was great. They also offered free photographs with the trip which is nice touch as you can leave all your valuables at the centre. we would highly recommend Kokou to anyone visiting Paros, worth the price and an activity you won’t forget. Thanks in particular to our french tour leader who made it extra fun!

I’ll start by saying what I feel is the greatest: the horses are well tended and HAPPY! Unlike many similar attractions, Yannis loves and cares deeply for his horses which is a great part of the experience! Yannis himself is a great guy who will offer you an unforgettable experience! The three hour ride (make sure to book early and be there before 9:00) with the swim on the horse is an amazing experience we will cherish for a long time!

Had a lovely ride through the mountains lead by the lovely Bo (fantastic guide, lovely to meet you!). The stables are beautiful and most importantly the horses are cared for superbly. Was surprised to find the stables also has a restaurant, I did not eat here but it looks beautiful! Views and scenery are amazing, staff are caring and attentive. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you for a wonderful day Bo, Sabine and Manolis!
