Ingrid is full of historic, trivia, & tidbit facts/information about the entire French Riviera. We hired her for 2 days and she never disappointed us. Learned much about Nice, coastline, Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo. 3 countries in ONE hour - she made it happened! France, Italy & Monaco. She told us it was the "perfect" time of the year to visit - few tourists & reduced prices, including hotel & shops. 2nd day was spent in Antibes (where Picasso lived 5 months/1946), small family run winery, St. Paul de Vence & more. Picnics both days - breathtaking views of countryside. She brought cloth tablecloths/wine glasses - niceities to add to experience!.Our trip seems surreal now, but we have boundless treasured memories thanks to Ingrid!

This is a review about our experience "so far" with Christopher and Ooh Provence. A number of months ago, as usual, I did extensive research and found a photographer and I contacted him to see about a photo experience while in Marseille. He responded immediately and then told me about his tour company which extends beyond just photography. It was perfect...a guide that could help 2 amateur photographers get some unique shots in a great city plus learn about the history at the same time. I find this is a great way to explore a city. So, of course ,I booked and paid the deposit etc. and we confirmed our date. Then along came Covid 19 and I finally had to cancel .This company offers full refund up to 24 hours in advance of tour and Christopher had no problem with an immediate refund. I will add that is not the case with some hotels etc. I am so impressed with the customer service under very extraordinary circumstances and will definitely book with Ooh Provence in the future when we can return post Covid. Based on my experience so far I am sure we will have a great time touring Marseille and the surrounding area with Christopher. I often find the true test of a good travel company is how they handle unexpected problems and can be flexible. Christopher delivers on this for sure!!

This is a great day out for lovers of fine wine and the best food that Provence has to offer. Leaving Aix-en-Provence, heading north towards Château La Coste, the renowned vineyard where fine wine sits in harmony with art & architecture. We visit the vineyard and learn about the production here and have an opportunity to taste some of their best wine. Next we head to the Coteaux d’Aix & Ste Victoire wine region. Mount St Victoire, a symbol of Provence - the mountain rises over 1000 meters behind the rolling landscape and vineyards close to the historic Provençal village of Puyloubier. This is a visit of discovery coupled with visits to three local vineyards, with tastings. We will also have lunch in a typical Provençale restaurant on a terrace in the village of Puyloubier.

Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Wine tasting at three Domaines

Exclusions: There is time allocated for a relaxing lunch in the historic provençal village of Puyloubier, Wine purchases by the bottle at the Domaines

We did an online wine tasting and it was a real pity we couldn’t have a physical one. It was amazing. Yuliya helped to buy and select wine for tasting, she gave a lot of information about how to taste wine, what to look for and how to navigate this complicated French wine landscape. I would definitely love to do this again in real life!

In this tour, you’ll discovery the ever-unpredictable history of Nice, a city, by its outer appearance has no or very little equivalent in the rest of France. We booked a 3 hour Segway tour around Nice. Gianni was our very cool guide and re-acquainted us with their Segways. Of course the little Segway dance was completed and we showed our age as we are 60+. But a few minutes and Gianni had us good to go. We went from the Promenade all the way around the waterfront to Villefranche sur Mer and back over the hill through the wealthy suburbs and back to base. We took 30+ minutes to explore the tunnels in the fortress walls in Villefranche sur Mer which were amazing dating back over 400 years and then had a relaxing coffee on and the waterfront. The Segways have 2 speeds, in a crowd and on road which Gianni sets depending on location. Plenty of power and very quick on the road. Gianni was an excellent guide and would highly recommend him and his company he guides for.

Hi, my name is Richard. I really enjoyed my first year of Aix Walking Tours , my love of this town and history is a great combination . I met lots of interesting, engaging people from all over the world and had a ton of great reviews and I was looking forward to an even better 2020 and then Covid19 . The good news is we are now back, so if you can get to Aix , I would love to see you. I have lived and worked in the UK, USA and Asia . On a year plus family trip around the world we took a lot of walking tours. Its the best way to get to know a city and I got to know what makes a good walking tour - Small groups , so you can hear and ask questions. A guide who knows the facts , but also the stories , the characters , the fun, what its like to actually live in the city. I want you to know Aix and even want to live here , or at least come back and visit again !
