We really enjoyed this day. We visited a charming winery and were driven by Alex to several spots in the countryside which were fantastic, specially a little romanic church in the middle of nowhere. We also had the chance of visiting a few medieval towns full of history. Really worthy.

The delights of the coast of Guipuzcoa can be found much further than the astonishing beaches of San Sebastian. Tiny and lovely fishing villages like Orio can be discovered, where time seems to have stopped long time ago, or nice villages on the beach such as Zarautz where people from all around the world spend their summer enjoying the Basque culture, gastronomy and surf in the same town. Blow your mind in Getaria where Juan Sebastian de Elcano, the first man who went around the world was born, where Txakoli mostly is produced and where the Balenciaga Museum is located. Finally visit Zumaia, the town chosen by many film makers to record sitcoms like the last season of Game of Thrones or "Spanish Affair", a very famous Spanish movie. Do not lose the opportunity to visit the fantastic towns of Guipuzcoa shore.

Iker gave a virtual presentation via Internet of his Bilbao and Guggenheim Museum Private tour. It was very interesting to get to know this amazing city and Iker showed a lot of impressing photos so that everybody could perfectly imagine the tour. At the same time, he answered a lot of individual questions, showing a very good knowledge of art, the city's history, food etc. All in all, we got a vivid image of Bilbao and will book him as soon as we will be able to visit this city for real.

I cannot recommend this day trip highly enough. Ander provided the most amazing day - hotel pickup, beautiful sights, history, cultural information, and treats along the way. The stop at each town was incredibly memorable. We also had a great stop at the Spanish-French border for a coffee and incredible views. If you're looking for a special day that will take you away frm the tourist-heavy sites in Donostia-San Sebastian, this is the tour for you. Ander, thank you so much for your warmth and for a day that we will never forget. If we visit again your beautiful country, you will see us for a repeat tour! Brian Couch and Flo Couch

All our tours will respect Spanish social distancing rules at all times and the guide will wear a mask in closed spaces. Pamplona is a city with a lot of history to tell, magnificent arquitecture, culture and exquisite gastronomy. Pamplona is also host to the world famous bull race that takes place through the streets of the old quarter up to the bull ring. On this experience we will replicate the race step by step and after we would also discover all the best highlights of this city with an expert guide. Pamplona has a medieval fortress called “la cuidadella”. Since we arrived in Spain nearly 2 weeks ago, we have participated in several tours as we traveled across Spain. All very enriching, insightful, and worth while. As the cliché goes “save the best for last!” Jamie, tour operator/owner, picked us up bright and early from our hotel and off we went to Bilbao. Jamie brought along his cousin/operator in training, which we were totally cool with and actually it added another level to the tour. Compared to our other tours, they ultimately felt, for the like of a better word, like tours. You were paying someone to show you around. There was some invisible boundary that separated operator from client, totally fine but it feels fake sometimes. This tour felt different, it felt like a couple friends taking a road trip from San Sebastián to Bilbao. One of the friends being really knowledgeable, Jamie. One of the friend working off that energy, Jaime cousin. The other friends going along for the ride, us. It was refreshing and fantastic. Having conversations as we drove between the two cities made the time whiz by so quickly. That’s a plus! Normally, one of us, fiancé or I, are falling asleep as we get to a destination. Not this time around, Jaime and his cousin were really engaging. Admittedly, I had some doubts that we wouldn’t get a breathe of Bilbao in a day but, I have to be honest, we really felt like we got immersed in the city. He guided us through the streets and history. Showed us local spots and let us on our own at the Guggenheim to take in the art. Afterwards we chatted our way back to our hotel. We could have hung out with both Jaime and his cousin all day. Next time, we are back in town, we will take him up on one of his other tours. Highly recommend having him show you around. Super knowledge and engaging. I can not recommend this tour any higher.

This historic and sustainable nature walking tour, starts in Bilbao and using the public transport to get to the coast, we will guide you through the history of the Basque Country. The Nervion River is the origin of Bilbao and it is also the main axis to understanding the development of Bizkaia and the Basque Country. From the fantastic Azkorri beach, a very special beach and probably our favorite beach close to Bilbao city (it is easy to reach by bus). This beach with black sand, is covered by a green blanket of dunes and flanked by a steep cliff, it is the perfect spot for nature lovers, and is considered a geological and biological jewel. The path that runs along spectacular landscapes and steep cliffs, arriving to the mouth of the River and up to Bizkaia Bridge will help you to understand the past and the present of Bizkaia; the most important province of the Basque Country full of heritage and traditions.

Inclusions: 4 pintxos and 4 drinks per person: Zurito (small beer), Rioja Crianza (Red wine), Txakolí Basque White Wine, Mosto (non alcoholic grape drink) or cold drinks, Public transport tickets , 6 hours guided bespoke tour in English/French/Spanish/Basque, Nordic Walking poles, Bizkaia Bridge admission fee

Exclusions: Any other meals and drinks not mentioned

We travelled by car from Bilbao with Iñaki for a day tour to Rioja. Tasted some fantastic wines and had some very interesting wine making information from wine makers. Iñaki explained much about the history of the Basque and Rioja regions during the day’s travelling. We highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in wine making and regional Spain.

Angel was very insightful and took me to places I never would have known to go while staying for two weeks in San Sebastián. He knew a lot about the geological processes of the region and explored very beautiful landscapes along the coast! It was definitely a highlight of the trip ????
