The place instantly evokes a feeling of patriotism, especially after watching soldiers protecting the border that too in such nerve-wracking weather condition. Also, it was through this pass, Dalai Lama entered India. Bumla Pass has witnessed many memorable events that make it a special one in the history of India. While on visit to Bumla Pass, make a point to see the route from where Dalai Lama entered India to take a refuge. One can also see the Indo-China Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) Point, which is one of the four meeting points between Indian Army and People's Liberation Army of China for regular consultations and interaction The best time to visit here will be summers, and too when there's no sign of rain.Bumla Pass is accessible only by permission. For the permits, you need to visit the Office of the Deputy Commissioner in Tawang District and then Indian army cantonment of Tawang. The office for issue of visitor pass is inside the Campus of ‘Tawang War Memorial.’ We visited this place in a group of 19 persons in 3 jeeps & have taken almost full day to visit BunLa Pas & Madhuri Lake.

Minkiani Pass Trek is among the very less explored treks in Himachal Pradesh. The pass lies 7 kms from Kareri lake and is a perfect blend of scenery and adventure in Dhauladhar mountain range. Once can witness various species of Himalayan birds and wild animals, and if you are lucky enough you can get a glimpse of Himalayan fox, snow leopard and many others. Minkiani Pass lies at an height of 4,343 meters same as Indrahar pass. The route to Minkiani Pass is steep and needs good fitness level. We trekked with Travel Monk. Everything was nicely arranged. Visit- thetravelmonk.com , Cont-8146654329. Camp, Matts & Sleeping bag were sanitized right before us, which you cannot see done by any other camp provider. They did everything to minimize the risk as possible. Proper sanitary-ware were provided. In such a times of Covid proper sanitization is most important. Western Bio-toilet with camp was such a relief, the first of kind i saw in my whole trekking experience. Toilet facility other than that was not anywhere. Highly recommended for Women trekkers.

this trek is one of the most beautiful treks to be done in himalaya. The trek starts from Kasol, then to Grahan village , Mintatch , Nagaru (the highest campsite), biskerithatch, bandakthatch and then to barsheni village and return to kasol. you get snow if you go in april and may first half. If snowfall is heavy you will get snow till june also.

Awesome trip friends. I have visited Alwar with my friend Ronish Baxter and went to this place. Wow feeling to tour this Zip line. You can see the beauty of nature and literally feel it. At time I got scared also but enjoyed a lot with the safety guard guidance.

Now gaining attention of many more tourists day by day. Its a rural area 60 kms from Ekm, where the river flowing through the forest. 10 mins walk from the paprking space through the illis(bamboo) and reach the river. Be extreme careful as strong undercurrents and potholes underneath wont grab the attention at first site. Listen to the nature over the surroundings of an unspoiled nature. Recommended for Nature enthusiasts.
