Went with friends prior to eating at nearby restaurant.....great way to start a special evening out .The drive up a little hairy, but the view from the little white church is panoramic and quite spiritual.

By writing this review I probably put at risk what is one of the last stretches of unspoilt coastline in southern Spain. If you are prepared to walk then you can take in a wonderful stretch of coastline largely free from half finished villas and derelict building sites. Beware of mountain bikers on the steeper sections of pathways. The Natural Park is both peaceful and easily accessible, especially from Peñiscola. Walkers of all abilities can take advantage of the main paths, but take a picnic lunch as there are no places to buy food and drink. It is possible to drive along the coastal road if you are careful, it is mostly unsurfaced and a bit rough in places. Torre Badum is a good place to stop, as is the small car park a few Km south of the tower at Pebret. We were there in February and had the place mostly to ourselves
