This is a must play golf course it is unbelievable rolling fairways the greens weren’t as good as what they normally are but they are still better than some I have been on this year it has a fantastically layout and you often see there are deer and a squirrel running around the fairway the clubhouse is very friendly and has a great view of the 18th fairway

Seaton Carew Golf Club

Reviewed By Binno67 - Brewood, United Kingdom

Played during Covid restrictions on old course. Course condition superb. Liked the layout. We played on a calm day and good scoring was possible. The numerous bunkers put up a fierce green side defence. Well worthy of its Top 100 rating on most UK course lists. Probably only marked down because of the industrial backdrop but for me this only added interest. Outstanding value and couple the visit with nearby Cleveland GC and I’m told Hartlepool and you will have an excellent links break.

Beamish Park Golf Club

A golf club is not everybody's first choice when deciding where to go for Sunday lunch. Today I tried Beamish Park Golf Club with my wife and elderly Father and I please to say, Im glad I did. The dining room is large with a fantastic view overlooking the course. The staff were very friendly and helpful with nothing being a problem for them. My Father was in a wheel chair which wasn't a problem at all. Now the food which is a carvery. There was a choice of hot roasts with as much gravy as you wanted and a great selection of vegetables, all served with a very large Yorkshire pudding. We all went for the beef which was very succulent, had no fatty bits and plentiful, all the veg was cooked just right. The bill came to £27, including our drinks which I felt was outstanding value. Would I go again, that's a big YES.

Knotty Hill Golf Centre

Reviewed By robinso

We are a group of retired ex-colleagues who were looking for something different to do for our annual summer outing and so we booked this venue to play FootGolf. We arrived mid-morning to the warmest possible welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. We had a pre-match coffee in the restaurant and then we were given our scorecards and pencils and were even offered a lift to the first tee in a golf buggy. We picked up our half size footballs, then the lady fully explained the features of the course and even made suggestions as to how we should split up the group and mark the cards etc., We split off into three groups of 3 players. We were intending to play 9 holes but we enjoyed the experience so much that we carried on and played the full 18 holes. We then returned to the clubhouse and paid our fees where again we were greeted by the friendly staff who seemed to welcome our business and were genuinely interested in finding out about our customer experience. We would highly recommend supporting this family run business for a fun day out in lovely countryside surroundings.
