Saw good reviews about this shop and decided to visit it during my stay in Buenos Aires. Staff are nice but would like to specifically mention Sophie - she was very friendly and offered great advise which helped me in my decisions on the jacket! I also met Silvia, the owner and she was the sweetest!! She made sure that I was going to be happy with my jacket She accommodated all my requests as great quality and service are more important to her than just sales - which makes for a great shopping experience! Went back home with a fine customized lambskin black leather jacket! Thanks a lot Silvia! More success to you! :) Will visit you again when I am in BA next time! Gracias!!

Although the El Ateneo was very crowded when we visited on a weekday, we easily maneuvered the crowds to wander this beautiful bookstore located in an old theater. The store has a wide selection of fiction and nonfication books, children’s books and games, and music. There’s even a cafe located on the old stage. Even if you’re not a reader, stop by El Ateneo.

Good experience to see the olive oil process and sun dried raisins de tomatoes . They have a small store where you can buy the different oils, ointments and sun dried fruits and veggies. Worth the trip
