The 10 Best Game & Entertainment Centers in Bristol, England

January 15, 2022 Almeta Stockton

Bristol is a quirky British city with beautiful hilly vistas and plenty of historic sights to explore. Anyone interested in ships will have a blast aboard Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first great oceanliner, and the Matthew, a replica of the ship upon which John Cabot sailed to America in the 15th century. The graceful Clifton Suspension Bridge is another must-see.

We had our company team event at InPlay golf this week. Nicky was great at managing the booking process and we went for 2 simulators for a group of 10 mixed age, gender and ability golfers (we had some pro golfers and other who had never even picked up a golf!). We played a team competition between the 2 sims; allowing everyone the opportunity to take part regardless of golfing ability. Both Paul and Nicky gave us excellent help and tuition throughout (I think Nicky's putting tips really helped seal the win for us!) and as the bar was open throughout, it was amazing how much the non-golfers confidence grew after a few drinks! Overall, I would highly recommend this as a great team event for any age, sex or golfing ability. For a larger team I would certainly opt for a 2 hour session as it goes so quickly. Go and give it a go, you won't regret it!

What a great night out . We were welcomed by Cal and the perfect man for the job - enthusiastic and explained everything clearly . The clues were very clever and sometimes a bit tricky and even though we didn’t “escape “ my work colleagues escaped theirs. Would definitely do it again and would recommend to anyone . Our age range was 17 to 71 and great for all

Had the second day of a stag do here - excellent fun and Jen looked after us really well. Only slight incongruity was being a bunch of slightly hungover guys in their 40s running around like loons whilst the rest of the Wild Place customers were generally families with young children - we had to get one of our party to moderate his language a few times....

We're Bristol's only dedicated board game cafe. We have over 700 games and helpful staff who can find the right ones for you and your group. They can even set the board up and teach you the rules too! Besides the games we're a fully licenced bar-cafe, with an all-day food menu, speciality coffee and tea, craft beers and fine wines. It's £5 per person for a four-hour gaming session.

for anyone who has a fondness for playing boardgames with friends and family this place is brilliant. They have such a huge selection of games that include casual and fun party games to more indepth "nerdy" games and from 2 player up to large groups. The staff are all really lovely and helpful and what i have really enjoyed is asking them to suggest games that they like which are similar to what i've played before. Doing this has introduced me to several new games, some of which i have now bought for myself.
