I had a fab 3 hour painting experience with Jeanni on Mawgan Porth beach. Jeanni is a truly inspirational teacher who is so willing to share her wealth of knowledge so generously. Her unique, fun teaching style made painting look so simple and doable even for a complete novice like me. She has inspired me to explore painting further and I'm looking forward to our next class. Thank you Jeanni! If you are in the area do book a class with her!

I've visited Dairyland before and been going off and on for 17 years... and think its one of the best places to go with your family. eldest is now 27 and first visited when he was 9, my youngest is 5 and loves the place!! We went as part of a local community group Little Treasures (treviscoe) to see Santa, we had 10 children of varying ages (12 months to 11 years) and they all loved it... they decorated biscuits.. played in the Bull Pen.. saw animals.. and best of all saw Santa!! He was amazing!! He payed complete attention to each child and made the experience magical for them.. He even floss danced with one of our children.. 10 every happy children and several parents raving about it and organising to come back again next yeart!!

Indoor Bowling Newquay

Reviewed By NiallG73

We booked in August as part of a very large, visiting youth group with a mix of teenagers and adults. We only found them by chance as a replacement activity for something else we had to cancel. All of our staff team will be recommending California Bowl to any other groups that we know of visiting the area next year. The guy running the place and the guy in the kitchen were a great pair who made us feel welcome and would do what they could to appease a rather rowdy crowd. But we all had a great time, food is nothing more than you might expect from an alley (burgers and chips, etc) but that's nothing less than you need, and we were allowed access into the hotel pool, too. Perhaps the stand-out that sets this venue apart is the balcony with fantastic views across the Gannel - I think our staff enjoyed that more than the teens, but it's a great spot to relax outside if you want to make a little more of your visit than just "turn up, bowl, leave". Bowling is what you're going to go there for, though, and that experience was great - a few technical difficulties as you can get with any alley, but the guys worked hard to keep the night as flawless as possible. We can only apologise to anyone else who may have been there for the four minibuses parked in the car park, and the wait that some had to get into the pool and the alley!
