Kos or Cos (English: /kɒs/ or /kɔːs/) (Greek: Κως, Greek pronunciation: [kos]) is a Greek island, part of the Dodecanese island chain in the southeastern Aegean Sea, off the Anatolian coast of Turkey. Kos is the third largest island of the Dodecanese by area, after Rhodes and Karpathos; it has a population of 33,388 (2011 census), making it the second most populous of the Dodecanese, after Rhodes. One of the most surprising experiences my wife and I had in Kos island, was the bowling center there. Wonderful place, wonderful cafe, games and pool tables.

16 holes, 5 euro per person. Not too much. Friendly owner + complimentary water. Great view to Turkey and the ocean. They even gave us a gift when we left.

Great outdoor cinema experience, went to the final showing for the year in October, warm evening with BBQ as part of the final evening. Cost 7 euros well worth it, still have the break half way through the film.

I highly recommend this amazing, best evenings fun ever. We went 3 times, and it just got better and better. The owners are great, they pick up and drop off and if actually racing around the great little track isn’t enough, watching others is equally as fun due to fact there are a few turns which are tricky. If you are in Kos, give it a go, you won’t regret it. Even my son, who’d never been on go kart loved it, and the owner was brilliant with him.
