New Hampshire's White Mountains are jam packed with attractions. Scenic roads make driving between them a delight. Trundle along Conway's Scenic Railroad and Mount Washington Cog Railway, sally upwards on the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tram and Loon Mountain Skyride, plunge down in Polar Caves Park and Flume Gorge, and reach top speeds at Attitash ski resort and summer playground. Offering a wealth of outdoors wonders both in winter and summer, the White Mountains are a thrill for all seasons.

Handcrafting classic European grapes and locally sourced fruits into wines of distinction, Seven Birches offers wine tasting daily and "Meet the Winemaker" tours weekly. The fruit may be from around the world, but the wine in our bottles embraces the spirit of NH. Live Free!
Highly recommend the Meet the Winemaker tour. I am not a huge wine lover so just a tasting would not interest me. Really enjoyed learning about the wine making process. Nathan made sure everyone had fin and was very accommodating in answering questions.

As owners of Bear Mountain Lodge B&B for the past 14 years, we wanted to offer our guests and others staying in the Bethlehem, Bretton Woods and Franconia Notch areas additional activities/tours to enjoy while visiting. With 4 new breweries opening within a 25 minute drive and guests constantly saying they wished they could visit more, our brew tour business was born.

A hidden Gem. My wife and I came across this small winery as we traveled from the Lakes Region of NH to North Conway. They had small yellow road signs posted for the winery which we followed on our way back later in the day. We arrived about 45 minutes before closing and were welcomed by Lauren with a friendly smile. The tasting room was bigger than expected with several tables, including a high top, bar area and an outdoor porch to sit and sample or drink a glass once you know what you like. The ambiance is a real winner (see photos taken after closing). The atmosphere is warm and friendly, laidback fun, where people who do not know each other are hanging and talking as they drink the wine. Since we arrived late we closed out the night and were not rushed to leave at all. As far as the wine goes we primarily had only the red and found them to be the best reds from a New England winery that we have ever had. They import the grapes internationally instead of trying to use inferior New England red grapes. They also have cheese and crackers available for purchase and $5 for a tasting is a bargain. This is a MUST VISIT location for a fun afternoon on the weekend. They are open Fri-Sun the hours are 12-6 (stay a couple hours).

Owners Nik & Kirsten opened for business in 1998. Fueled by a passion for quality beer and the desire to live the White Mountain lifestyle to its fullest; taking advantage of, but never taking for granted, the spectacular area we call home. Tuckerman Brewing Co is now one of the longest-running owner-operated breweries in the state.
We were able to stop in one late afternoon on our recent trip and taste their great brews. Great staff and lots of outdoor space to sit and enjoy a cold beer with a hot pretzel. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

We are a micro winery who makes our vast assortment of wines right on the premises. Sampling is offered to help one choose from our large selection available. Personalized labeling is available for those purchasing by the batch for special occasions such as weddings, holidays, corporate gifts, birthdays, etc. In the heart of North Conway Village.
Talking to the dogs! The wines are good with a wide selection at a variety of price points. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. But the DOGS! Stella - a laid back white pit bull - is an absolute sweetheart, as are Lucy & Doc, 2 very friendly black labs. Stella always brings me her toy and Doc loves back rubs. Lucie does too. There's a new girl now, whose name escapes me at the moment, and she's still a little shy but willing to get love! Seriously good wine, though. I especially love the fruited whites!

Hermit Woods Winery and Deli, one of Food & Wine Magazine's "500 Best Wineries in America" in 2017, is a small boutique winery, cidery, meadery and deli located in downtown Meredith NH. We make a wide variety of wines from local fruit (organic when possible) and raw honey in a classic European style. When you join us for a tasting, in addition to sharing our wines with you, we will do our best to make your time with us both enjoyable and educational. The people who make the wine will be serving you and will share their knowledge about the wine and the wine making process. We also have a deli where we offer a light menu and beer and wine by the glass. Enjoy some food and wine inside or on our deck. We hope to see you in our tasting room soon. Note: If you use a wheelchair, please call ahead
My wife and I visited hermit woods winery for a tasting experience. Pleasantly surprised by the wines, welcome and knowledge of our host, Erica was brilliant and made us feel really at home. A great time, absolutely recommend dropping into this lovely winery.

Tamworth Distilling & Mercantile is a craft, small-batch distillery in the heart of a historic and charming small-town. With our custom still we are able to make whiskey and brandy as well as vodka and gin. We offer tastings of our spirits as well as unique and delicious sodas, mixers and bitters. The mercantile is sure to have something you can't live without!
We were visiting friends in New Durham. They always plan the most interesting excursions for us. Today, we set out for Tamworth. After a delightful lunch at the Art in the Age Cage, we strolled down to the Tamworth Distillery. We were thrilled to see such an enchanting and charming distillery. We were able to look into where the products are distilled. Today, they were offering several ways to taste their products. You could have 3 tastings for $12, 5 tastings for $15 or a Cider Making which included a tasting of 3 spirits; make your own cider and a plate of cheese, biscuit and apples for $20.00. My husband did the 5 for $15 tasting of the following: Chocorua Straight Rye, Tamworth Garden Pommeau, Tamworth Garden Dutchess Gin, Old Hampshire Applejack, and Ginger Quince Cordial. Our friends did the Cider Making Tasting. Tamara was our server, and she was a delight. She took the time to explain everything to us. We found it most interesting, and my husband enjoyed all of his tastings. So much so, that he purchased a bottle of Flora Gin (which he had previously enjoyed). We enjoyed a really nice afternoon.
