The short review.... Professional, Kind, Educational The long review....Organised a 2hr hack with Sheelagh and her team. It was a professional experience and really organised from start to finish which i really appreciated. They have a website which enables you to provide all of your details in advance so that you are ready to get going once at their premises. Before we went out for the hack they had the 3 of us do a short preparation session in the indoor school. It was at this point that they excelled and went above and beyond. Through no fault of theirs I began to feel anxious (perimenopause). I explained the situation and within minutes Sheelagh was with me and a change of plan was organised to facilitate me. Sheelagh provided a one to one lesson for me, giving me great advice and tips. It wasnt the ride that they had organised for me, nor the adventure I had hoped for however it was perfect for me in the end. Their adaptability to the situation was very much appreciated

Carrington Riding Centre

We are a busy, yet very friendly Riding School that provides affordable lessons to both adults and children. We are based just a few miles south west of Manchester in the Mersey valley green belt. We are situated in 450 acres of open countryside yet still close to the motorway network and this allows us to offer fantastic off road hacking routes to our clients. Our facilities include one indoor school and four, all weather, rubber surfaced outdoor floodlit menages with comfortable viewing facilities and fully stocked café. We are the only riding school in the area to have our own Racewood Dressage simulator, the most advanced of its type in the world. On ‘Othello’, we can offer technical riding lessons to nervous or returning riders and beginners through to advanced dressage riders. Our experienced, qualified and friendly staff can offer riding levels to all abilities including beginners at affordable prices :)

Our grandchildren, aged 9 & 6, mentioned a few days ago they had never been on a horse, so when we saw CRC on Facebook we booked a "pony trek" for them. Their excitement grew as we approached the centre and they realised what was planned for them. After being issued with helmets they were introduced to their ponies, after which they had a 30-min circular trek around the centre. Contrary to some other TA reports we found the staff to all be very pleasant, happy to help, and to tell us all about the ponies we were assigned to.
