Lonely Planet wrote about the Alentejo: "Go to be bewitched. Portugal’s largest region, covering a third of the country, truly captivates. Think dry, golden plains, rolling hillsides and lime-green vines. A rugged coastline, traditional whitewashed villages, marble towns and majestic medieval cities. Plus a proud if melancholic people, who valiantly cling to their local crafts." Don't miss out on this private day tour of our most charming region in the country!

If there's a rating above 5 stars, this trip with Daniella deserves it. This was more than a tour. It was actually a pilgrimage that got my 10 year old fascinated at the story of the 3 children of Fatima. My partner who is not catholic was overwhelmed at level of details Daniella took to ensure we enjoyed this trip. With an active and cranky 3 year old, Daniella was very patient and helped soothe our boy several times. This trip is all you need to enjoy Fatima and this got me into planning another trip to Portugal. Thank you ever so much Daniella!

Paulo gave us a full day tour (walking and van) of Lisbon with emphasis on the Jewish history. He also took us to the small Ashkenazi synagogue where we learned about the synagogue's history from one of the members and viewed many of their historical artifacts, We had a one hour lunch with him in a small restaurant where we were able to learn about his personal history and get more information about Jewish Portugal.

This was one of the best tours me and my wife have ever taken during our travels around the world. Premiere Tours is by far the best guiding agency we ever hired, and Jorge Bras is the most knowledgeable guide, a true gentleman, always looking out for our wellbeing. Fatima and Sintra are truly two of the most wonderful places in the planet. The spirituality of Fatima and the mysticism of Sintra with its magical fairytale palaces, made the top on our favorite places in the world list. Even though we were in Portugal for only three days on a business trip, during the pandemic, we decided to contact Premiere Tours for ideas on a one day tour, and we are so pleased that we were advised to take this one. We recommend this highly professional guiding agency to everyone visit Portugal.

While the title seems to say it all, to put it into context, we have been traveling for 30 years and always arrange for our own guides even if we are on a cruise. Not only did Paulo have a tremendous depth of knowledge about both the past and present of Portugal, he had the ability to tell the story in a concise and relevant manner that was engrossing. There were a number times during our day with Paulo when we would say to ourselves, "This is the best guide that we have ever had"! And indeed he was.

Sofia was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable about information as well as unwritten histories of the locations we saw, such as the Moorish Castle. Had a wonderful lunch by the seaside and even some time to walk on the beach, even though it was middle of Winter! (I love dunking my feet in the ocean!) Had some time in the little town itself, quaint and cute little shops and cafes. Many thanks Sofia!

The best 2 days of our vacation was having Joao as our personal tour guide. He exceeded all of our expectations. Joao was polite, educational, friendly, patient and above all of this spending 2 days together with Joao was like hanging out with a longtime friend. We wanted to see a cork factory and have a tour he made calls and got it set up. We wanted to have lunch in Evora he called a local place were all the locals eat and had a table reserved-and waiting for us. This meal was by far the best food we had on our vacation in Portugal! Every request we made no matter how big or small he was accommodating. I would highly recommend having Joao as a personal tour guide you will not regret the decision. We would easily give him a 10 ???? star rating. We asked him for restaurant recommendations and his recommendations were spot on every time. My husband and I plan to book more private tours with Joao on out next trip to Lisbon.

During a 12 hour Lisbon layover, we did the Sintra tour with Fredrico. He's friendly, adaptable and a knowledgeable guide. His recommendations on the best sites to see and the best restaurant choice made this a very enjoyable excursion. His rates are reasonable, particularly if there are two or more to share the cost.
