Our Journey of Discovery begins at the designated meeting point in Port Zante. In 15 minutes, you will learn about the history of Port Zante and historic downtown Basseterre, French for "Low land", including some of her iconic landmarks such as the St. George Anglican Church and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.  From there discover the secrets of the Wingfield Estate in Old Road, the oldest sugar plantation in the Caribbean. Explore the old ruins for thirty minutes. See the lush, verdant Rainforest with Mount Liamigua in the distance. The highlight of the Tour is a visit to the Amazing Grace Experience in Sandy Point where there is more to discover. The poor treatment of slaves transported by John Newton from Africa to St. Kitts for sale in the slave market at Independence Square affected him so much, that he got the inspiration to pen this most beloved hymn Amazing Grace. This was a great tour. My wife and I were the only two on the tour and the operator customized the tour to meet our needs, so we could see exactly what we wanted. Unlike most tours we were able to spend as much time as we wanted in each location. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to St. Kitts

This was one of the better walking tours I have been on! Rochelle was informative and entertaining. She taught the group about various different aspects of Nevis and answered everyone's questions very well. She also kept it fun and adapted the tour well to the scattered showered we experienced. Overall, great time!

I can go on and on about the wonderful day but will give you the condensed version. From the time of pick up until the drop off we had a blast with Pastor Wiliams (Henry) as our guide for the day. We had 7 of us aged from 21 to 88 and the tour was great for all. We hit all the stops Brimstone Hill Romney Manor + + and ended the day at Timothy Hill after a stop at Shipwreck ( Our choice) for A swim, drinks and lunch. Met Mr Grey a few times during the day. Great guy, Great Company and Great Day for all of us ! Can't say enough good things about them. We topped the day off with a wedding ceremony from Pastor Williams for two in our unsuspected party :-) They are still together pastor. Not sure for how long but still together! :-) Thank You Thenford, Thank You Henry, If anything I can do from the states, you know how to get a hold of me. Take good care and keep on doing what you do! All the best! Mike & Family.

Chris was waiting for us in front of the casino as planned. He knows everything about the island and the perfect places to stop. He also is expert at keeping the hucksters away although there were few on the Saturday we toured. The town is an easy walk from the port and is was nice to get out of town in the comfort of his modern van. So nice to get individual attention instead of being herded onto a big tour bus!

We booked the tour through our travel agent's site. It was cheaper than going through Princess Shore excursions. We were met at the ship's dock with a 12 passenger van and had lots of room. Our guide was "Spoonie", Annie's husband, and he was funny and very informative about all that we saw. The stops were just the right amount of time as to see everything and not get bored waiting. We saw alot of things and it gave us a good review of the island. I would book another tour with them if I visit again.

To start with I have to say that Captain Sunshine Tours delivered on their promises and Damien was the best guide you could ever want, helpful, knowledgeable, skilled and entertaining. The hike is not a hike - it is a mountain and rock climb, a real killer for anyone not in top physical condition. My husband and I are in our mid sixties and walk a lot at home so we managed to finish it but were sore for days after. What were we thinking?!! In addition, there is a real possibility of injury and no aid in sight. The view is of a jungle filled crater through a small gap in the trees so unless you want to physically challenge yourself and are confident of your abilities - don't consider this. The view is not worth the effort. Any satisfaction comes from arriving safe and sound back at the starting point.
