Although Sisira was not personally able to be our Sri Lanka tour guide he did his up-most to ensure that we were in the best hands and had everything we needed. This included: Arranging an excellent substitute driver, organizing for his son to pick us up from the airport and welcome us, on-going email communication during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, great recommendations of where to go and stay and organisation of the famous train to Ella

Yes, so we decide to visit Srilanka for our honeymoon. We met Rachita at airport for the first time after so many discussions on mail and WhatsApp. Rachi has he fondly called had given us a exceptional welcome. We had booked our tour for Kandy, Bentota and Colombo for 5 days. Rachi was more of a friend and we'll wisher than a regular tour operator guide. He had an amazing experience travelling with Rachi. Thanks to Leisure World Tours' chauffeur/tour guide Lal, my family and I had an unforgettable 11 day trip to Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Trinco, and Arugam Bay. It was a pleasure from the moment he picked us up until the moment he dropped us back home. When there was a problem or a moment of stress, he helped us sort it out immediately, and kindly helped me out. His main concern was that we have no stress and enjoy the trip. We saw so many beautiful, historical and special sites and buildings, and learned so much about Sri Lanka from our guide, it made me learn to appreciate the country all over again.

The hike to Knuckles Mountain range was well organised by Mahaweli Tours. We were provided with a good guide who knew his way about well and we felt safe throughout the trek. We were also looked after well and enjoyed the experience. There was fun and entertainment and chatter to keep us motivated to go up the mountains and we got to experience a nice cold waterfall bath too! 5 stars to both Prasad and Ajith for providing us with this experience.

This is more of a response to the Covid-19 event and the lack of being able to contact this company and to receive a refund for a prepaid custom tour. We booked and paid for our tour in February 2020. When our cruise was cancelled because of Covid-19 we requested a refund in May 2020. We received no response to this request. The next time we received an email from them was to rate the tour that we would have taken in October 2020. In trying to contact them now we receive a bounce back to the emails that we send them. Covid-19 did not shut down the internet so contact should have been made to let us know the situation of their business.

Gayan collected us from the airport and drove us to Yala National Park. We did a 1 day safari where we saw many animals including a Leopard and a bear. We will treasure this experience forever. On day 3 he then took us to Mirissa beach where we did a whale watching and had some of the best seafood dinners. Day 5 he drove us to Hikkaduwa where we swam with the turtles and in the evening had the best traditional Sri Lankan curry. Gayan is an amazing guide and speaks perfect English. He arranged everything for us and charged us a very low rate. This is my 3rd time in Sri Lanka and I will definitely be coming back and will only use Gayan. Highly recommend him for any tour you wish to go on.

Lovely day out. My driver, Adhil, was great. I was keen to leave earlier than the scheduled 8am start (to beat the traffic), and to go to Sigirya first (so we weren’t walking up during the hot part of the day). This was no problem for Adhil, and he was promptly waiting outside my Guest House at 7am. His historic information about the sites also saved me the cost of hiring a guide.

Ashiq Aswar is a superb tour guide! Him and Rizni took my family around on a tour of Colombo that included shopping and then a tour of the outskirts of a bee farm, spice gardens a private tour visiting and riding elephants. We had a great lunch in a clean and air-conditioned restaurant. The van was clean and comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us back. This trip was actually in the early part of last year in spring, but the calendar on Trip Advisor only goes back to summer of last year. They were very attentive, very caring and personable. I would highly recommend Ashiq and Kingfisher tours to anyone visiting Colombo, Sri Lanka ????????
