Last month I took my family for a 6 nights 7 days tour after planning for weeks. We first went to Cherrapunjee and visited Nohkalikai falls, a splendid beauty. We spent some quality time inside the mawsmai cave. We cover Mawlynnong, Dawki and jowai. While boating at Dawki felt like we were boating on a mirror, the river was super see through. Most amazingly we visited the Monoliths, this a lesser known tourist place, but according to my point of view people should come to visit this place where you can feel the history. After jowai we went to Shillong and next day we went to Kaziranga. Here is a general advice, if you want to do the elephant safari go to the booking counter at least 2 hour before they open. Otherwise you won't get the tickets. At noon we visited Kaziranga orchid park, felt like we have seen every orchid i n the planet. Some cultural function was going very there during our visit, enjoyed a lot. Here another advice, try to have launch there, a true Assamese cuisine. Thanks to Foothills Tour for organizing our trip. They really know how to manage time. Driver was super funny and friendly.
