Cancelled my booking on the day
Reviewed By HironimusboschI made a booking through booking.com which was confirmed, when I arrived I was told that it had been cancelled because I had not arrived by the check in time of 1800. They had given my room to someone else. I was new in town and I had to find a place to stay at the last minute which was rather stressful.

Lovely safe little hotel
Reviewed By Mandy GThe rooms are huge and bright. The place was immaculate! Our family had great night's sleep every night. The front staff can recommend a taxi guide. Fridge, sink, laundry area, coffee maker (no coffee) No pool, or breakfast or restaurants close by. They take all payments.

Reviewed By mun0z1242 month rental for me, clean.modern, the coolest set up ever, u have your own studio,access to living room, I spent most my time in patio area with dipping pool,had everything I needed, hot showers,with great water pressure, rooms supplied with basics for cooking and living, the owners live on site and have been my life saver for coming to a new country and not knowing anything and by myself as a female, I couldn't have made this move by myself as easy without this place. these people are what mexico is all about-goodness and welcoming.

Reviewed By 60878GuacamayaOur friend had to have a scratch removed with lazer from her lens in Merida eye clinic , she told us the price , unreal cheap . She decided to visit and come to progreso and low and behold she chose Villas Bayal , Just happened to be 2 blocks from our house . Great neighborhood with soccer field basket ball and baseball field all just 2 blocks from beach . Key thing is this zone inbetween busy progreso and summertime very busy little Chixalub is a great location . She reported the price and we both thought it was very very nice for the price . Very helpful staff , New Hotel and very very clean and new .

Wonderful hotel
Reviewed By Garrett MWe are currently staying here and have been for the last two weeks. This review is for the new building by the pool. The rooms are sparklingly clean, the beds area huge, comfortable and have very good linen. Our room has a pool view which is lovely and peaceful, you can open the sliding doors in the mornings and listen to the birds. All the staff are wonderful and happy to help in any way. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By candyfarias66honest people cleaning and in charge of the cabins; I forgot a 'make up' bag with jewelry in it (from custom stuff to a couch watch) and they return it; about a month after when I could go back; besides that, it is a beautiful place and the cenote is out of this world

The property features a large, deep pool, expansive sunny deck overlooking the pool, front porch and a covered patio for shade. Guests suites are well equipped with full kitchens, TV and wireless internet. Walking distance to Centro, restaurants and shopping.

Reviewed By worldtoshareWe visited Progreso for the first time in January this year 2019. We found Casa Destino through fellow travellers on Facebook. It was a great place to stay. Very clean, well laid out, well appointed and one block from the beach and Malecon. Our host Pam was very amicable and helpful in ensuring our first stay to Progreso was enjoyable! She was very willing to answer our questions and give us advise for making the most of our visit. We would highly recommend staying at Casa Destino and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Reviewed By Andy BGreat place to stay for a day, week or months. Jill and Martin are great hosts. Extremely friendly and able to answer all your question. Rooms are clean, quiet, and well equipped. Visit El Bull Pen while you are there for one of their dinner specials or a night of entertainment. Thank you so much and see you next time.

The Worst Experience Ever
Reviewed By Alejandro MHonestly, the worst experience ever. I was traveling with kids, At night and my baby girl had temperature, I wanted her to take a bath but the water of the shower was frozen. There was not a single person to call or someone to help. Next day, Maria or Flor (I asked for her name but she didnt want to share it with me so I asked the staff for her name) who was in charge of the hotel was the meanest, the said she wasnt able to help and that not having hot water wasnt her problem. If you want to have a good time in Telchac avoid this hotel. There are other good options around.
