Reviewed By Greene TI stayed for a few years at Ardager Apartments. The location is great, the accommodation dependable, and the cleaning and reception staff reliable and friendly. In the time I was there, the lovely manager arranged drinks and snacks on the top floor on a weekly basis. It was very popular and much frequented by the residents and their guests. A really nice gesture and much appreciated. The place is really well managed. Congratulations. Gents, step-up on IWD!

Chagala Atyrau Residence is a 4-star aparthotel located in Atyrau´s Ural river area, next to all major business offices, FOK exhibition and sports center, large supermarket, lots of restaurants and an Irish Pub O'Neils. Reviewed By Darren CStayed at what is known as the New Chagala hotel/residence which is much better then the old place. Rooms are comfy and the staff are great. The business lunch is great value for money and the breakfast is also OK. The best thing about the Chagala is the location near some very good restaurants and bars.

Dirty and sketchy - I would not come back
Reviewed By MSam2013While staff were very nice, the entire place was dirty and sketchy. The cleanliness levels were atrocious. We found hairs in the shower, dirt on the floor, and a condom under the curtains. I immediately requested a room change, and while the other room was much better, it was still pretty grimy. The breakfast was also awful as we were met with greasy food served on dirty dishes. I am a very relaxed and easy going traveller, so it says a lot that I found this place unclean. The place was shady and put a huge damper on my trip. I will never be staying here again.

Excellent apartment, great location, beautiful view
Reviewed By DERICK SI booked an apartment for 1 person and was given a very large, beautiful, and spacious apartment on the 35th floor overlooking beautiful landmarks in Astana. Te apartment had 4 large rooms - a living room with large windows, a large kitchen stocked with cooking supplies, a comfortable bedroom, and a clean bathroom with a washer. There was an air conditioning unit in the apartment, but it was in the kitchen. At the ground level of the building, there are many grocery stores. In the shopping mall next door, there is a large food court, many stores, and a very large supermarket with a great deli selection. The apartment manager/owner did not speak English, but we managed to somehow communicate. The WiFi worked very well. I would definitely stay here again.

Basic but Ok
Reviewed By RobM645I've stayed here a couple of times now for work. Reception & check in is good, quick with staff that speak English. To get to your room you will probably have to walk back outside, Ok in the summer, not so great in the winter. Rooms are then spread over 8 floors with 4 rooms to a floor. The lifts are slow but functional. I've had similar rooms each time, which have comprised 2 small separate rooms, think big enough for a double bed with room to walk around. Separate basic bathroom with a shower. Water pressure is negligible so if you like a powerful shower you will be disappointed! Rooms are clean, though beds typically hard with thin pillows. You may or may not get a stocked mini-bar! The Wi-fi is decent which is just as well as the TV channels are just about no existent if you want English language, There is a small basic gym. The restaurant offers a reasonable buffet lunch. Pizzas are not bad either. The wild Duck Bar is dark so not great but they give you all the crisps & nuts you can eat. They'll also bring you food down from the restaurant. Location is fairly central & some of KPOs offices are just behind the hotel so only a 5mins walk. There are also a couple of other bars a few minutes walk. So overall adequate.
