Reviewed By Thebigs05We arrived early in the morning and Terra Bella let us into our room early, which was good of them. We went to sleep as we had been on an uncomfortable over night bus. Once awake we realised that the floor was filthy and the bottom of our feet had gone from white to black. Apart from that, the room was spot on and the location was ok as well, only being a five minute taxi ride from the city. It was on our last morning here that we had real problems. They did let us stay in the room until the afternoon, which again was very nice of them and they didn't have to do it. When we booked the room via email, we were told that the room for two nights would cost $80, so somewhere in the region of 440.00 Argentinian pesos, or so we thought! As you are unable to obtain US dollars in Argentina, apart from the black market, we can only pay in pesos. And with the black market rate of dollars being 7 pesos to $1 instead of 5 pesos to the $, the price has gone from $80 to $125 - which is a big difference when on a budget. If we had known about this before booking the room or they had told us, we wouldn't have stated here. All in all, a good room but a nasty surprise waiting for us at the end of our stay!

Tired room - not good value for money
Reviewed By Bethy201014We’ve been travelling throughout South America for 3 weeks so far and stayed at a variety of places, this is the only one that has fallen short of our expectations. The pictures depict it is a quaint little place but that’s not the reality. We were also keen to have a pool day but the pool is much smaller than represented and no room to hang out around the pool. We wondered if we went too low budget when booking this place based on what we got but in reality, it just feels we were overcharged. We booked a hotel 15 minutes away for the same price which was idyllic!

A nice Apart hotel on the outskirts of St Augustin
Reviewed By Plymouthtraveller8We stayed here for 4 nights to visit the Provincial and National Parks which are about 1 to 2 hours away by car. Like many Apart Hotels these units were very dated, but clean and offered good value for money. There is a small grassed area forming the front of these units and we parked our hire car there as the roads adjacent to the units are unsurfaced. Luis is a very convivial man, ensuring that he was at the units for your arrival time and on hand to solve any issues that might arise. There are a number of units in this complex and it appears that they have differing facilities in the kitchenette, so if you do not find what you want in the kitchen area, just ask Luis and I'm sure he will assist. A tray breakfast was delivered to our room each morning at the agreed time and although a little basic was very welcome. St Augustin is an intersting small town, only the roads in the very centre of the town are paved, so when it rains it can get rather muddy. There are a number of reasonable restaurants serving good value meals and also a few supermarkets in which you can find virtually everything you need. Would I stay here again, Yes as I think Luis offers good value for money

Great place to stay close to the vineyards!
Reviewed By abngueroWe picked this place due to the larger rooms and the location in reference to the vineyards. It was a cute hotel that had great service. The breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. The best part is that we were closer to the vineyards so we didn't have to wake up as early to get the tours started.

Reviewed By honky_tonk89Apartment are equipped with a small kitchen, refrigerator and a stove. Furthermore there is a table, chairs and a couch. In the bedroom there are two single beds or if you like a double bed. for one or two nights ok. The Central Bus Station is 300 meters away. My conclusion: ok and cheap

Delightful stay
Reviewed By furtertnTeresita has 6 rooms which offer a very comfortable stay in a natural setting, Well equipped with a comfortable bed and a separate bathroom with a small kitchenette.Wifi is ok. A dry breakfast is provided dailyand is quite sufficient.There is also a barbeque area next to a swimming pool and covered parking for 6 cars. Birdlife is prolific and delightful. The access road is challenging at times but the road up to the property is asphalt.

Reviewed By ignaciot79Everything worked out great, the owner was always available to help with anything and accomodate our needs. It is at walking distance from a local supermarket and shopping center, a nice safe and quiet area to setup base, rent a car and explore Mendoza.
