We had a wonderful experience with Himalayan Social Journey. They were extremely helpful in helping us organize our visit and visas for Nepal. Our wonderful driver Dilip was waiting for us at the airport upon arrival to bring us to the accommodations they had organized for us. We did a lovely day tour of Kathmandu and enjoyed our tour guide Dip very much. The Everest plane tour was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Every part of our journey was seamless and pleasant thanks to Himalayan Social Journey and their wonderful employees. They were even kind enough to organize a covid test for us after the tour before our return home. Everyone made us feel welcome and at home. Nepal is truly a unique and wonderful country and their hospitality was touching. We can not wait to return for another tour.

I booked a tour with Heavanly Bhutan for a trip in Dec 2020. Communication was faultless and Shiva helped me to arrange the most perfect trip and tour for me, a solo female traveller. Unfortunately, due to Covid, I had to cancel. Heavenly Bhutan assured me at the time of booking that if I was unable to make it due to covid, I would be fully refunded or able to postpone. As I would like to see Bhutan in December I opted for a full refund. Shiva has been true to his word and within a few days of requesting the refund, the money was back in my account as promised. Absolute pleasure to deal with this company and I will not hesitate to book my trip through them when the pandemic is over. Thanks so much Heavenly Bhutan! See u in the near future.

I've been on three virtual tours with Jamtso as the guide in his hometown of Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. During each tour he showed took us to a different area of of the city and told us of the country's history and local customs. He even invited the virtual group into his home to see how Bhutanese traditionally live. His English is excellent. I enjoyed all these tours and am sure others will too.

I really enjoyed my tour. Both my guide and driver were wonderful, however as a solo on a group tour that no one else booked it wasn't what I was after (not the company's fault). The guide was extremely thorough, and adapted the meals to suit my request for more local cuisine, and was excellent when I had a bad dizzy spell when hiking. The before tour info was very good and helpful, extremely responsive although it was a bit strange when I was still getting text messages randomly after the tour had finished. I feel like the service and hotels were of outstanding quality, and my only issue is really with the way the country forces you to take organised tours where possible and that results in a tour where you don't feel like you see anything genuine, rather very touristy places that all the other tourists are at. It would be nice if tours could allow staff to join the passengers at meals etc so solo travellers don't end up alone most of the time.

10. 9 Day Bhutan (Happiness is a place) with Naturally Nepal Tour

Liberty Holidays

Bhutan is no ordinary place. It is the last great Himalayan kingdom, shrouded in mystery and magic, where a traditional Buddhist culture carefully embraces global developments. Firstly, there is the amazing Himalayan landscape, where snow-capped peaks rise above shadowy gorges cloaked in primeval forests. Taking up prime positions in this picture-book landscape are the majestic fortress-like dzongs and monasteries. This unique architecture sets the stage for spectacular tsechus (dance festivals) attended by an almost medieval-looking audience. Then there are the textiles and handicrafts, outrageous archery competitions, high-altitude trekking trails, and stunning flora and fauna. If it's not 'Shangri La', it's as close as it gets. The tour covers UNESCO listed World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley which includes Pashupatinath temple , Boudanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Inclusions: Breakfast, Lunch, Lunch, Dinner, Lunch, Breakfast, Breakfast, Dinner, Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Dinner, Breakfast, Dinner, Breakfast, Bhutan Visa Fees , Accommodation in 3 star hotels (Twin Sharing Basis) , Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in Bhutan tour , Licensed English speaking Tour Guide , All Sightseeing , Air Fare KTM – Paro – KTM, Accommodation in BB basis in Kathmandu , Farewell Nepali dinner with cultural show
